This just goes to show you script writers that you can get banned while testing your script, not even while running the final product. So it's probably a good idea to use a throwaway account while writing the script.

Eeey? Come again? Seriously?Yeah, some users have posted about getting banned while using the webclient, but using SMART has returned no bans.. It's worth investigating :) Little is knows so far.

The only thing I can guess would be that the webclient has more snooping privileges than then SMART, but I don't know why that would be.

The strange thing for me is when I select the RS webclient with Simba and try to use color functions, they always return 0. But if I don't select the webclient and use color functions they work just fine.

if you create too many accounts in a short space of time or with a bot like name the account is banned almost instantly. jagex do this to stop mass accounts being created for gold farming thats all it is.
