what type of pure

i am having the debate of my life right now (not really), im highly stuggling in the type of pure i should make. i wasnt a member back in 07 so i never had a chance to train or make pure back then.
i dont know what type of pure to make or the type of pures there are.

my stats are as follows:

att 33 (all from quests)
str 45
range 45
def 1
mage 15
hp 40

what type of pure should i make? like in what difreection should i head? i love ranging so ill throw that out there.
if anyone has any guides or know of any guides and can share with me i would be more than happy to post it at the top of this thread so everyone else with my problem can see.

Personally I'm oldschool and like 99 everything with 1 def, 52 pray,

But from what I remember from the good ol' days, theres pures ranging from the following, obviously these are "best case stats" that are unlikely to be all achieved at once ;) but it's what to aim for, stats can be lower such ad attack with whips and hitpoints, but these are stats that in some cases will always be leveling while you PK, so don't focus on them staying low, e.g. You go 70 attack with a whip, you have to use attack stance forever ;)

60,99,1,99,99 - Dragon 1def Pure
99,99,1,99,99 - Whip 1def pure
50,99,1,99,99 - Gmaul Pure
1,99,1,99,99 - Obby weapon pure (if I remember there was a obby wep that required no attack?)
1,1,99,99,99 - Range Tank
60,99,40,99,99 - Dragon Rune Pure
60,99,45,99,99 - Zerker Pure
99,99,45,99,99 - Whip Zerker Pure
60,99,20,99,99 - Dragon Initiate / Mystic Pure
99,99,20,99,99 - Whip Initiate / Mystic Pure
99,99,70,99,99 - Barrows Pure
70,99,70,99,99 - Dragon Skim / Greataxe Barrows Pure

Prayer ranges from 43 (all protect prays), 44 (Range 15%), 52 (Smite), or lower if you want,

Theres a load of different names, technically 99 def 99 range is "tank" not pure, but it's a extreme stat focus all the same so I threw it in

Try a gmaul pure! That's what I'm going for, and you can throw rune knives and gmaul spec while pking. Best pure imo, but the cost of gmauls might be high.

Most common right now are 60 attack pures since they can use dragon equipment, but I like gmaul pures better

Become a zerker pure and rip through the 1 def noob's defenses :D

Problem is the def levels will normally put you out of the combat reach of 1def's anymore, and as this is a new server, it's not going to be like the original, as we're going into it will all the builds being known, so there will be no mains to fight, just pures vs pures, so whatever type of pure you go, combat level is likely to put you vs other pures of your type ;)

Yea most people go this build for using rune and torso, normally stopping at 70 attack and using whip, but this means your combat level is not static and you will eventually level attack up increasing combat ;)

I guess it depends on if you've got the cash for losing a maul every time you die lol
