not sure what this thread is about.. HTML pretty much slaps you in the face with what it is.

I'm pretty sure when people say "HTML is not a language" they mean it's not a programming language or a scripting language. People who aren't familiar with programming usually think that all computer-languages are programming languages, meant to program certain applications.
