HaHa I really love doing this to my friends in the computer lab. Unfortunately, once I typed in a wrong Comp Id.. and it was of a (very large) Senior's computer... and kinda had to hide for a few days..... =0

There are ways to shut down people's computers oversea's the most simple and non-illegal way is to know their windows log-in name and pass/ and ip. and do a virtual desktop connection and shut them down that way. But they would have to have that enabled. Of course there are some other methods but I would get in trouble for posting them here LOL.
it says acces is denide all the time
sorry cant spell so good =(
guys, is there any other ways of getting the computer names? cuz my school wount let you get into run or right click... bastards!
Logged in as teacher, thus with enough privileges.
I tried i tout and it didn't worked, too bad:(
THe compute names are with capitals, and i couldn't add a pc with capitals, it's weird, is it because of that?:s
-Tsn.
Hmm.. odd, it worked on my own pc but not the other one.. BU08-EDU-D00075.. i wanted to turn that one down, maybe its the same thing like Tsn? that we cant type THESE!! :D
THANK YOU!!!!

Lol cool! just do it in job place i get in notime in trouble
I'm having the same problem as yazoo in school =[
My computer is blocked at my school!
haha, schools gonna be a blast tomorrow (snow day FTW)
Gotta Love What We Can Do Wi PC's LOL
I dont know if this has been said before ( can't be bothered reading through all pages ) but another way of opening a prompt is by opening notepad, typing in command.com instead of cmd and saving as batch(could be anything).bat -> just make sure u delete the file after ur done. With a prompt u can also add users, net user (insert name) /ADD. For the more advanced "hackers", start/run/regedit. Brings up every important system file.
If I think of anymore ways U could exploit the command prompt I'll let ya know.
EDIT = I just noticed that almost everything I posted above, is on another thread here on the tutorials section, so dont mention me. SORRY ! ( gotta love google lol )
lol, Shame I'm Perminently Banned From My Collage Network lol
Another way of opening notepad if it's blocked by your school is by opening internet explorer->file->edit with notepad. Works for me ;)
Lol, Hilarous
HAHAHAH! Your computer will explode ... That's hilarious.
I might try this, but I'm afraid I'll get expelled or suspended :P
Good trick though, or should I say bad (as in naughty) :P
Wont the teacher find out and report you?
What is the world coming to
Nice, Thanks alot man! I am gonna have so much fun. XDDD
rofl this actually works? i plan on doing it at school...
Ah yes, I remember this from a few years ago!
I doubt anyone will be able to do it in their schools or offices since you need administrative privileges. But I still have a story from about 3 years ago. It was my sophomore year in high school and a small group of my friends and I figured out how to get admin privileges by messing around with the ethernet cable while logging in. My one friend decided to pull this trick...not on one computer...or two...but every computer in the entire school. He gave it a 5 second leeway before shutdown. It was sooooooooooooo funny!!!:D Except he was then permanently banned from using any computer in the school for the rest of his high school career. Apparently a lot of data wasn't saved on the administrative computers and all of it was lost.
Still, it is pretty fun to do on your own computer (assuming you're the admin) if you're on a network with a bunch of your friends :p
i am going to use this at school when writing essays and they will have to restart
ha that is so cool
?? does it work with laptops??
all the kids at my school get laptops
if it works that would be awesome
hm.. didnt work for me!
I tried it at school, but i think i maked a mistake.. better luck next time:)
Rofl this is awsome, its a shame im not at school anymore, lol if I was lol....awww a would like to have learnt this last year to bug everyone at school....Sweet tutorial man :D
haha that seems funny. i should try that today at school, but im not sure if it would work on the computers at my school.
Haha that was brilliant I used it in computer class today and freaked a bunch of kids out now its an epidemic throughout my school its awesome! thanks dude!
my school won't let me do this >.> unless ur admin u can't access properties
Me, my little sister, and my mom are on the same network but when i try to do it to my sister is says "The network path was not found"? help... (i'm new to this)
Edit1: I have used the (ping ip) command and i am connected...
Edit2:I go to cmd and type in "net view" and it says something like there are no entries on the list?? How do i add her computer to it?
hehe this should be fun to do at the school library :f:
I want to try this but all the teachers at my school are parinoid and if you open a command prompt they will kick you out of the class and fail you.
Gooodo Lol :d
I've tried something like this before on my own computer for practising the command :P
There's a way to type in 'shutdown.exe -s -x -y (just an example)' and that will skip the dialog completely and go straight to the shutdown...
Start --> Run --> Type CMD --> Type shutdown.exe --> You should have a list of commands to play around with :P
i should try this sometime sounds fun.
*laughs evily*:D :spot: :D
this is hilarious my school has over 150 comps ima doi it and the computer nerds'll get so pissed lol
Lol this is awsome i'm gonna try it someday
This joke could be used in so many evil ways...
And i might use it...
Interesting...I'll have to definitely try this out some time...
