Does anyone have any type of program for a TI-84 that can make it easier to calculate someone's VO2max? Intended use is specifically for school (research).

Do you specifically need it for the calculator? As it seems you would be better off plugging them into one of the several online calculators that I have found. Are you using the calculator to collect the data or just transferring it?
Im taking firefighting and I specifically have to calculate my vo2 max every week or so. I can for sure help you out with how I do it. If you need any more stuff on calculating I have other stuff as well but this small regiment is about as good as you'll get for accurate result. Just hit me up if you need anything else

Determine Your Target Heart Rate and Briefly Explain The Significance:
Calculate your Resting Heart Rate first thing in the morning using a 15 second count. Make sure it is done before caffeine, exercise, nicotine or alcohol.
Use the calculator below and determine your Target Heart Rate for 60-90% max.

V02 max Indirect Calculations:
The minimum V02max required be a firefighter is 42 ml/kg/min (Dr. Norm Gledhill York University Fitness). This is measured directly by using a treadmill test where intensity of exercise is increased until oxygen availability plateaus. In order to better understand your level of fitness, complete the following indirect aerobic fitness assessments and determine your V02max.
12 min Run Test: Use a 400 m track so you know how far you ran in 12 mins.
After a warm up, the subject runs as fast as possible for 12 minutes. Tester records distance covered (miles, yards, kilometers, metre).

Rockport Walk Test:
After a brief warm up, the subject walks as briskly as possible for one mile (1609 meters) with a heart rate monitor. Tester records heart rate (beats per minute) and time to completion.
It is important to accurately measure exercise heart rate. Heart rate was electronically monitored in the original study. A 10 second (Rockport) or 15 second (ACE) pulse may be used if the tester is very proficient but an electronic heart rate monitor is recommended
