KYAB - the KICK YOUR ASS BOT

You only have to update when RS changes the variables. We haven't had to do one of those updates in about 2 weeks. Also it's only reflecting off the client.

I'm still not too keen on it.

If KYAB is all-powerful, where does that leave SCAR?

I like the idea of a color-clicker. It's safe, and human-like.

Prove me wrong, but as far as I know, humans don't look for an object's IDs before they click to use it, nor do they get their absolute position, all the way down to the tile they're standing on, before they walk. (They do, in a sense, but not the way I suspect KYAB does it.)

Although KYAB isn't technically editing the client, it's still reading the object IDs (much like RSDemon?), correct? So does that mean it'll have to go through updates each week, to keep the IDs accurate?

No offence, but you are quite a bit off. You should go to impwiki and learn about it. Basicly it uses a weakness of java to associate part of the bot into the actualy client. This is suposed to be undetectable. (java.lang.reflect) Once the bot is inside the super class it can go, weed through all of the HEAVLY obfuscated code, and find the location of key variables. Heince, anything the client ever knows at any time, kyab knows just by reading the same memorie.

:p And it still takes some scripting ability, icefire made a 6000+ line script for it, so it isnt always easy :)

Even if it's not flawless, it's the closest we have come to making perfect scripts. And even if you don't like it, you HAVE to admit that KYAB is an amazingly well done piece of work

Kyab is really cool.. However it does not replace the old scar users..
It is an addition.. You aren't forced to use it..

I think we should use both kyab and srl.. Kyab can do those never done scripts before, like karamja auto fisher.. But srl and scar can still be used for challenges, fun and enjoyment.

This also gives leechers a little push to learn.

WTF do YOU know about Java? Eh? Tell me. Ben did all of the updater and most of the socket system. I did the whole front end and php subsystem. We both did a shitload of work. Even if I didn't write the updater, I learned a lot from Ben and I can easily write a simple updater now. Your statement is ignorant. What do you have against me wizzy?

I can't really script. So that should make me a leeching member correct? Well, the thing is, I've never even used a members script yet. I haven't even downloaded one...So, does that make me a non-leecher? So, that make's me not a good member, nor am I a bad member. So, if I apply, what would be the verdict?

Well actually it's only long (6616 lines) because it's basically 6 scripts combined into 1, that and it's going to be more than 6 scripts combined into one when more crafters are made. But yeah you're right it isn't always "Easy" since I've been working on 2 flavors of it, a version based almost entirely off KYAB and and version based entirely off regular SRL methods.

Hopefully I will finish learning DDTMs and get you all that flavor soon.

Edit: Ok now that KYAB is known about to the general public I will probably combine the two flavors into 1 script with a check box that says 'Use KYAB?'.

No nothing is flawless but go and run some scripts on Kyab. The lumby miner is my favorite of course. Its one of those scripts I know I can fall asleep on and not wake up koed by a sandwich lady or teled to some god awful place.

Change is not bad especially when its for the better.

ROFL I love your wording! Also, I believe icefire's method is one of the best. Include a boolean which you can set to use KYAB or not. Adding in KYAB functionality to any normal SRL only script is no problem at all, especially for walking, and those who prefer to have nothing to do with KYAB will set the flag off.
