I'd don't usually post proggies with a problem with the script. Like I said, it got one full invent etc, banked returned and failed to continue mining.

I ran it again, found mine, but after mining 5 or 6 ores it just stood there.

I'm gonna re-run it in a bit, and let you know how it goes. With the updated version too.

So the above was right, but there was no gasses lol.

I watched this entire trip.

failed to find bank, it walked around the outer walls of the walling near the bank and ended up by the anvils in varrok east. I then stopped it and posted the above procedure.

I might just run these on 1 load loops as that seems the only success I've had so far and the whole sequence will continually loop right?

EDIT: Stats are in script but I'm not too sure if Its updating right. Info is correct, and firewall on allow for script.

Current stats, 1 Week 6 Hous 21 Minutes.

yeah version 0.11 finds gas everytime it tries to mine silver for me. finds a 18-21% change then 'found gas'

trying it with just iron and clay...
it didnt seem interested in mining the clay that time, just loaded up with iron, started walking up to the bank and thought it found it once it hit those 4 pillers just before the road.

also sometimes it cant find the southern irons from the north one, adding something to make sure the map is facing perfectly north if it gets 5 or so 'couldnt find rock's would fix this i think.

tried making string1 silver and just setting it to 2 seconds (other 2 were iron set for 15 each), seemed to fix afore mentioned problem, and it ran well...

if it doesnt mine one sort of ore, try setting it to a different string, or changing the mining time for that string. the script will preference string 1 automatically so set string 1 to the ore you want it to mine the most. :)

try to mess around with the player's strings, and the rock wait-times at the top of the script until you find some mining times that you are happy with. the times are fully customizable so you can play around as much as you want ;)

well due to the nature of the mine, its extremely difficult to get it to calibrate anywhere. ive tried bitmaps, dtms, and ddtms but nothing seems to work, because there are multiple points on the mine which all look the same on the minimap. regarding the gas, it must be picking up the silver ore colour as a gas. i will try to fix this, although it could just be what your character is wearing, it might be facing a certain way when mining that rock and that could set off the gas detector.

but yer thanks everyone for starting to post proggies and feedback, it helps me perfect the script which in turn will lead to a better script for everyone to auto with. it also lets me know that the script is being used, and that i havent just wasted a lot of my time. i appreciate it :)

I had this problem i think, make sure that if you are using just one character you remove all the character detail lines you are not using. Make sure that in the number of players form that you type in "1", your current player number is "0" and that the numbers down the side of all your character details( name, password ect) are "0". I hope this helps, if you dont understand ill try explain it clearer

And to The Claw, I was mining iron, and while it sits in the mines not doing anything it continueously visits the inventory, then the combat level tab, then the statistics tab, and also the settings tab. Repeats this a few times before clicking somewhere on the mini map. Another bug is that i had mined a full inventory of iron, but it wasnt recognising i had and kept clicking on the iron trying to mine.

Ill try the updated script now and give you another progress report.

The Claw

Yup it goes to the random tabs so that it doesn't just sit there if it doesn't find the rock, and end up logging out. I'll have that inventory bug fixed in the next version.

The reason that the script logs out after the 32 minutes is because of the constants PlayerLoads and LoadTime. If you left the values at default, PlayerLoads would be set to 2 and LoadTime would be set to 15 minutes. The script is made so that after it has done the PlayerLoads, it will switch to the nextplayer. Im geussing that each load was taking more than 15 minutes each, so the LoadTime failsafe came in, and went to bank the stuff, and added 1 load to the counter. If nothing went wrong, then the player should log back in straight after it logged out.

But if you dont want that to happen and you are only using 1 player (not reccommended though) you could set the PlayerLoads to something like 9999999999999999. I think its a good idea to leave LoadTime at 15 though. :)

I found mine this time, and then it mined about 12 and then that was it. I had left it on overnight, and thats what happened.

Ah sorry about that...I am looking into the problem, and will try and have a solution up soon. I'm currently working on another script (power fisher for the competition, due in 4 days) and have a chem test at school coming up, so I dont know when I will be able to fix it. But it will get fixed, at some stage.

Lotspyda no one else seems to be getting the canvas error, just wondering if you did do everything correctly?

I just ran the script while setting the playerloads to 9999999999999999 and loadtime to 15mins. It still ended up stooping after 23 minutes or so, automatically logging out.

I then set the playerloads to 1 . and ran the script. this time it went to mind,mined and depsoited the ore at the bankl and then logged out, and the it logged in again and ran the script again. Worked pretty good but always at the 1:17-1:40 mark it ends up logging out and was also lost. (wizards tower).

i'm having a really hard time trying to find the colors...my guy just walks down the road and never catches the tree colors...i've tried atleast 5 dark ones im starting to try all the colors of the tree but the script isnt reading it any ideas or should i keep searching? i did what you asked on the first page. Also i get 4 tabbs of mining.scar pops up when i run the script i dont know if this is normal or not

im 99% sure I've set it up right, otherwise It wouldnt work at all.

The errors seem to be at random times,

First one was after a full load and then returned to bank.
Second was at the start of A load maybe 6 ores or so.

The mining is a little slow. It takes like 1.5 seconds for my guy to mine an iron, so, it need to move on quicker. :] That would be the " rock gone " recognition? ;S

Anyhow, I was just giving most of the SRL 4 scripts a spin. Great codezz, The Claw. The script is great. :D Your a really fast learner, unlike myself. :< haha

Thanks lostspyda, I think that I have figured out the error, and have possibly fixed it. I will do some testing today after school/tomorrow, and if everything is good then I'll upload the fixed version :)

WhiteShadow, does it mine the ore then take a long time to recognise that it has gone, or does it take a long time to search for a new ore? I'll take another look, but for me it takes 1 hit to mine the iron and it was moving on pretty quick when I tested it last.

I get to the mine fine but it mines one ore and then it says next player and logs me out and logs my next in and keeps doing that

Yeah...i'm having the same problem as you. I get to the mine and then i just log out.
Sometimes it has trouble getting to the mine. I ended up going east for a while and then my player just logged out.

I only set the script to one player. And i set the load to 100.

If you are having problems with it standing in the mine it usually has to do with someone else in the mine with you outmining you before you can get the ore by what I have seen. Alot of you guys are not autoing properly by just running 1 account which is probably lvl 3s with shitty pics. This scripts works fine if you get decent miners with decent picks and play around with the wait time.

First of all make a proper army level them up some and then level their mining up some and buy them good picks. Then come back and run it. I will post proggies here shortly. My miners are 60 or higher and I set the wait time to 2 seconds and I am outmining humans at the mine.

Edit for proggy. Gas reporting was off because it did not look for gas that much. It worked flawlessly for me. All miners were still positive and I shut it down manually. Never touched it once.

I used internet explorer on runescape very bright. Set the wait time to 2 seconds and had rune picks on level 60 miners. It mined a whole lot of ore too for a script in that time. I will probably overnight it tonight.

Those of you having problems need to make a proper army use internet explorer and learn how to use scripts.

Thanks very much for that JustKidding, I knew it was working fine.

If the script just stands around in the mine, try messing with lines 48 - 51. And btw, the script preferences strings[0], so dont put that to something that wont often be there, such as silver, because you will be standing around for a lot. If you wanted to mine silver, I suggest putting it at strings[2] maybe strings[1], but not [0].

It seems that the script works for anyone who sets it up correctly. But still, I will look into the problems that were posted, after I've done my physics homework and I'll see what I can do. :)

Anyone with "uknown identifiers", you need SRL 4.

gamer716, what levels were your characters? theres a mugger in the mine, and if you are below level 6 or so then it would kill you, even though i have it run away during a fight, it would keep coming back and would die.

btw, i am in the process of completely re-writing the rock finding and clicking, and so far it is looking great. its gonna be heaps faster. :)

Make sure you put 3 letters of your characters name into the nick field. If your name was turtleneck then put 3 to 4 letters from the middle of the name such as tlen. If one set of letters doesnt work experiment around. It works just fine because randoms are from srl not from his script and I got plenty of them last time I ran this and it worked fine.

Alrite updated, finally. Much better and faster rock finding. Walking has also been tweaked, due to complaints. AntiGas shouldn't find as many false but if it does, try wearing different clothes. Mining is so smooth that it was beating a legit when I was watching it before, and she was saying "omg stop!!" lol.

Tried this script today, it walked flawless, looks really human like.
But the only problem was, it mined and then just clicked on the minimap.
In the debugbox it said, there were like 6 gasses avoided.
Too bad there weren't any gasses.

Maybe that was because I was wearing full lederhosen, maybe the color affects it. I'll try another suit =]

i always get an runtime error on my second player but i am only using one player what should i do? also when i put false in the active slot for players after 1 it runs the script in scar but doesnt actually do anything

im pretty proud of this proggy :)

Three guy was standing south west of the mine but could still see the mining symbole on the mini map. one guy was standing just north ofthe mine over looking it again he could see the mining symbole. one guy was standing east of the mine, north of the champions guild again the mining symbole was on the mini map. one guy was halfway between the mine and the bank and had a full load of ore exept for two spaces and in those spaces were mystery boxes.

Great that it ran so long, but hmm thats not really many ores to tell the truth, and the gasses isnt very good...I've got a new version coming up, in the final stages of testing so I'll run it tonight and if all goes well I should have it ready for tomorrow. I'm using a different anti-gas (sky scripters) so its not as sensitive. Thanks for that report :)
