Selling runescape money on your website?

I've been thinking, now that SRL needs updating... That maybe i should make my own website to sell RS millions on, but first I would like your advice.

Questions

1. Is it legal?
2. Is paypal hard to put on a website and cheap? (you know, to sell the money!)
3. Do Jagex shut down the Servers? (hosting or whatever i don't know)
4. Is it worth it?
5. Can i get into real trouble for it?
6. Are you against it (srl) Because if you are, i won't do it!
7. And finally, can they track your credit card or something and get you arrested or something wild like that ROFL
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! I'm trying my best to become a good person in this community!

There are plenty of ads for rs money on here, maybe they should be sensored in google ads if the community doesn't like sold rs gp...

SRl don't support selling for real money. because there so much scammer. and we don't like those.

on you qeustion can they shut down your server/Website. - Yes they can. and they do. ( Look in bbq pit to the topic: ''i go kill jagex'' or something like that).

It's (almost) free, but paypal doesnt like people selling pixel money, they limit accs getting caught

If they really want to they can, but never heard of anyone that got caught

Depending on the no of mills you sell and the price of the mills, it might be a bit profitable

Yes, but never heard of anyone getting in real trouble

Most mill sites use lv3's, we hate lv3's, but if you auto correctly, I don't think most people here would care

It isn't illegal, but not supported around here either.. Also, paypal = scam when selling/buying rsgp.. In my opinion it's not worth it and yes, jagex can take down your site if you sell rsgp as far as I know.

Crap.. .. I wouldn't use lvl 3 chars. But I didnt know i could get into real trouble for it..

You're planning to sell rsgp or something and you don't know? Quite obviously people pay you, get their gp and then take their money back by refunding or something.. That's why most people don't like paypal.

Oh, I said im only learning... This may well take months to work out but I would like some spare cash to get me into uni or something when in a few years. Anyway, customers can automatically just get a refund? -.- thats unbelievably stupid!:confused:

if you do a website that sell money remember to give SRL members the gold much cheaper :D

Anyway, GoF can you inform me more about e-gold...Because i think many people use paypal because it doesn't cost money to run, it just takes a small amount of the profit and thats that. Maybe im wrong would you care to tell me more?

We don't sell gold here because it is real world illegal.

When you agree to Jagsex's Terms or Service, you agree to recognize that your character, and all in game items still belong to Jagsex (They love there pixels!).

So, they could have srl-forums.com taken down if we traded RS <-> Real world here.

PS. I'm pretty sure RS<->RL is considered stealing by lawyers.

Oh, so selling rsgp IS illegal, and i CAN get into trouble? Hmm im confused maybe i should speak to a lawyer lol..

I bet they could, if they wanted to, but it probably wouldn't be worth it unless the site is responsible for a lot of the Real World Item Trading going on.

Just be safe and host your own server.

Depends on how much time you wish to invest in it.

Probably not, unless you use Level 3s/RSDemon to go about getting the money.

What do you mean by hosting your own server, don't you have to pay a hosting website to get your server? If so, how do you host your own?

If you do host your own server your computer/internet connection must be up 24/7 and would cause alot of traffic on your line.

Would probably be very slow for the person loading the site.

Yes, I believe it is illegal. As you are giving someone THERE property.

I think I've seen some proof somewhere that selling mils is not illegal.. And not like they'd sue you for selling mills in their game.. The worst they can do is ip. ban you.
