Yes, this new update is the reason why the miner (and most other scripts) are not working right now.
I can also tell that you haven't been playing rs in awhile, considering the changes are very noticeable. Jagex updated the entire interface. The gametab buttons are smaller, some colors have been tweaked, the new clan chat has been added, a new random is out, and the overall interface of everything is larger than before (at least it appears that way) (h)

the new game update w/ the tabs, all the window changes, that is what is different, and yes that would be the wizzups ess miner isnt working

ive gt a sugeston y dont u make srl a srl members thing so there aint so many people autoing and if u wanna script then you have to learn how to lol

then rs would be a nice place

only problem w/ that is the people trying to learn to script wouldnt be able to test there things b/c there would be no srl then

The road colors change every time you login. They (Jagex) change colors 24/7 which is why auto-coloring is awesome.

It will be released soon. Supposedly within a week, but it was a big update so no one really knows ('cept the devs)

I think they're testing it atm, so I'd expect it sooner rather than later.

Ram rune said within a week 3 days ago. So I'm guessing 4 days? And according to bebe, they were testing/tweaking since before 08/11.

well, of course its taking some time to release, but the longer they take, thts how much effort is being put into the srl update. Which makes it easier for all of the members, and much more hard work for the devs. so keep it up guys. Im in full support, no matter how long it takes :)

Don't hold me o the "7days" comment I made :redface:..I was just throwing a number out there..sorry if I mislead anyone...to reiterate what BiBi said...yes..The new version 4.0 is almost ready, but the bugs are still being worked out...I Thank everyone for being so patient...I would just like to add, or those that can't contemplate it...how frustrating would it be...if the new version was released, but some small oversight kept it from working...then everyone would still be back where we started,So this testing period is very critical.....

I don't want to let the "cat out of the bag", but I will say this...the latest RS update was not the ONLY reason for the new version ;)....let the speculation begin :rolleyes:

hey thx to everyone thts workin on fixin the srl but got a question... if u update the srl does it meean tht scrips like wizzups ess miner wont work cause it doesnt work on 3.7 only works on 3.6, or will the srl 4.0 have the abeality to run 3.7 and 3.6 scripts????

and again cant wait till the srl comes out and thxx for evryones hard work:D

prolly 95% of scripts will have to be rewritten unless it doesn't use very much SRL in it.

ummm... thats not too good is it? How long will it take most scripters to rewrite there scripts, and will it be hard to learn all the new features cause I wanna learn how to script.
