SRL Forum Reforms.

We have restructured the SRL forums so to be more compatible with 30k+ members.

• A new Usergroup named Junior SRL Member has been created. This means that new registrees will no longer have access to profitable Free Scripts, scripts that Harvest and Bank. This has been done partly to stop the rapid influx of leechers and to give sincere registrees a change to proove themselves. ATTN: The Junior SRL Member threshhold has been modified to 7 days stay and 10 posts.
• All Question related Forums are now inside the FAQ forum, situated on top of the Board. These will be further restructured at a later date.
• Waste of Time and TimeOut! are merged.
• All Tutorials are merged to one Forum.
• Script Requests are moved to Script Sections.
• A new Runescape Forum now contains revelant update information.
• Added lots of cosmetic and removed lots of superfluous Forums.

err i have posted some scripts but have a low post count, i can no longer see the free scripts section though :( the direct link says that i am not allowed to access that page. like i said i do have scripts ive posted, so am not a leecher.
oh, and i have sent you PM with this same problem Fakawi...

Well, looks like I'll have to post some more before using the scripts again. I think the change will benefit the community in the long run. Nice work. :)

I was scared at first that my computer wass messed up. But after reloading the page about 5 times and restarting my computer i read the sticky... Now I feel really stupid.

uhm, now there will be spammers instead of leechers, or am i wrong?... (A).

I said, now we've got Spammers, i never said you were a leecher. I only said, that the leechers will become spammers....

I forgot to post this in my other post, so I'd like to ask it here. Is the Junior SRL Members group auto-promotion when you reach 25 posts and have been here for 14 or more days, or is upgrading done through Admin Validation?

Shouldn't the new group be called Junior Registered Member ? SRL Member suggests they're an srl member.

Do you have to promote the user or does it do it automatically?

Like the reform, although I do fear it will bring more spam into the forums

I like this idea. As long as one of the admins / mods bans all spammers.

We reshaped the threshhold for Junior Membership to 7 days stay and 10+ posts. We will add a Free for All section inside the Public Forum and a First Script Forum.

for some reason i cant see these sections? and ive been here for well over a month

its a good idea, but what exactly are the new people (im fairly new, learning to script) supposed to post about, all the tutorials are available and untill u post a few scripts ur post count is going to be low. They can no longer post proggys or feedback. The time delay thing is awesome though. Make it longer i say!
