Lumbridge West Swamp Miner

Hey guys, here is my Lumbridge Swamp Miner. It mines addy, mith and coal at the west mine in Lumbridge.
Last Update: 21/5/09

Features:

• Very fast rock finding
• Smooth transition between rocks - meaning it will mine the highest rock you specify, as soon as it appears. In the meantime it will mine other rocks.
• Detects when the rock has been mined
• Antigas
• Pickaxe Attaching
• All normal randoms, etc.
• Dare I say it? Flawless walking
• SRL Stats
• Very fast rock finding.

32 bit, low detail, use normal client, etc etc. Setup your players, start in draynor bank. The way this script works is it prioritizes Strings[0] over the other rocks in the mine, but when its gone it moves down one level. Eg, if you set it to addy then it will mine addy until theres none left, then mith until theres no mith, then coal. If at any time during the mining a higher rock re-appears, it will go straight to it. "Smooth transition between rocks" ;)

It should now avoid people wearing mith and addy coloured clothes, but still dont wear them or wield any picks/weapons of that type just in case. The new gas check also means that you can wear basically whatever you like :p

Only got 2 problems:
-didn't detect a rock giant (that fighting random ye)
-can't put a bankpin somewhere :(

No need to close your one, nothing like a bit of competition :) And nah, its better if you don't because the rock finding will think its an addy rock. But you can still use the pick, as long as you dont have it weilded.

Ok thanks, I think I've fixed up the rock giant, it was a problem with setting my locations. And I didnt realise people actually used bank pins on their autoers, I'll put that in now lol. Just updated it then, could you tell me if they both work?

Could not find Water Color!

mm so yea i dn ill try again but does 1 load perfect

Got some ores from it again, run great.
But found again 2 'bugs'
1. it clicks on trees / rocks (normal ones) when it is trying to walk, mostly it goes well. But when you get the error that hessel got, it clicks on a tree and stats searching the water color. Maybe you could change something so it won't click trees anymore.
2. it waits fairly long when it's 'following the rock', maybe you could limit that to 20 secs.

Another tip for people who get this:
It clicks on rocks who're empty & normally coal and thinks it mining addy/mith because a noob who's wearing that armour...
Just pick the collors every time you get a new windows, it's better set then not =]

For me... when it try's to change player it wont work... i know the reason but dont know solution...

You know when using windows Xp. The blue thing on top... with the name of the website: at this moment it will be like [srl 4] Lumby west swamp miner bla bla bla. That blue thing turns light blue... then it is not possible to type in runescape screen... so this script cant change user..

It also counts for some other scripts with user-change.... Some1 knows the solution...

And sorry for the bad english... Not my best language...

My god theres alot of bots here.

It logged out on me on my first miner. I set it on mith ore and it was doing fine untill it ran out of ore. The other macros there were mining the coal and it could not find any ore fast enough. It just stood there till it logged. I suggest adding the gametabs into this one as well to prevent logouts.

It also walks far east for some reason if it dont find the water color. I suggest making it click back onto the bank symbol whenever watercolor is not found. This way it can attempt to find it again. It really depends on where you are standing in the bank to see how much water is showing. Or since the bank symbol isnt always going to work how about if it fails to find the water color have it walk west or southwest towards it then search again. If you cant do either of these Id make it log out so your guy just dont go wandering off.

It was also clicking coal rocks with no ores in it for me whenever there was one right next to it with an ore.. Im gonna try a different browser and see if that make a difference at all. Nope. No matter which browser I use it still clicks empty coal rocks. It does fine with mith
though on getting the right rocks.

Thats all I see at the moment. If you update again pm me and Ill test around again..

Ok sweet, fixed up the walking if it doesnt find the water, it now tries to get closer to the water by going to the bank dtm/symbol and if it still doesnt find it then it logs out.

I had already coded the gametabs and stuff to make sure it didnt log out at the mine, but i had messed up a variable somewhere and it rendered it useless, so I fixed that up

I think ive fixed the coal mining..i made the boxes it searches for while following the rock or getting the center smaller, so it should stay on the one rock, instead of running the risk of overlapping rocks, and clicking in the one spot. its still a little dodgy though, especially if someone with mith or addy coloured clothes is standing over the top of the empty rock, it will move mouse, see the uptext and click. still thinking of a way to get around this.

i also fixed up a few other errors which i saw while fixing up the ones you posted. thanks for the feedback

Ok ill run this again a bit when I get home. I just mainly been working on combat and mage on my guys lately trying to get them really high since most got 65 mining or higher now. It seems alot get banned after 70 if their combat is real low.

I got about 3 thats done so I will put them there to run the script next few days. Its hard to get coal because there are no srl guild miners really. Ill post later tonight how it goes.

Im up for it srl hasnt had an updated one in forever. I can test this one while your making the other to perfect it. Ill post any feedback. Ive got enough good miners to run it without worrying about bans so I can test it effectively.

Id just make it srl member only though. We need another script like stupid 3000s guild miner. That thing ran for days in the frigging guild. Your more than capable.

Heh thanks. That will be good as if you can provide the same feedback for this script as you did with my VWM, it truly is invaluable.

And I'll get around to making the guild miner, but theres other stuff that I have to make first, like crafting scripts. I'm in a lazy mood atm too so it might be a while haha.
