This following exerpt comes from a well respected source and is a very real mesage from RS-Staff.

As you know, over the last few weeks we've been gradually phasing in the new offence system. .... ... You no longer need to report for Multi logging!... ...login checks give us indisputable proof of players trading items between accounts that they own. .... ....(To put your mind at rest, I should mention that this won't affect accounts owned by a multiple players in a single household).....

What could this possibly imply?

The only explanation I can think of is Jagex performs a subnode IP check. Lots of "household"s have a single IP, and the only distinction as far as Jagex can track imho is the IP's subnode. I have an IP/32, meaning I can connect 32 machines through a hub/router one the same I.P. My machines are labelled: 82.92.130.193:1 , 82.92.130.193:2 etc.... Using two accounts on one machine means I am trafficing data one the same subnodes between two Players, thus instant bannage.

Now, I am aware of the fact that virtually EVERYBODY has "shared" accounts, even the super legit players, and they trade items between those account. So I wonder what will happen once this system start collecting "evidence".

Just to warn you all:

DONT MULTIPLE LOGIN ON ONE MACHINE!

Do drop/die trades instead, use two machines, or use friends to help you out.

Create an account behind a proxy and always use it unsigned. This will provide you with a seperate ip. I personally and gonna let my brother kill me and take whatever I got and give to my main. We got many pk accounts that are legit so it should be no problem.

how can jagex legally grab a sub-node list? thats why they have the uid the uid identifys computers. im highly doubting this.

Would this work with virtual machines? The virtual machines have their very own Hard drive and their own System IP's. These are my System IP's:

Router: 192.168.1.1
Main computer: 192.168.1.2
VM 1: 192.168.1.3
VM 2: 192.168.1.4

Sure they have your subnode! They have your IP.'s logged, only they haven't done anything with them until the aryan hausse broke out. I know people that have been IP-banned from runescape on account of their massive massive abuse (24/7 with 12 or more bots running simultaneously.)
And although IP ban wont cure anything, relating IP's subnodes will offcourse. Most actions are serverside. Trading is one of those. The client only updates the graphics, but the server handles the changes inside the Player-Struct. Trading between same IP's happens a lot ofcourse, but trading between subnodes indicates a trade from one machine to the same machine....

Mind you, I am only hypothesising, I am unaware of their methods, but I think this is the only method of positively discriminating one machine...

If they have your IP, why not have the subnode, Geno?

I think the only way ubi can run now is if it can interact with a proxy, witch will cause slower rs playing speeds. I guess this also means ALL BOTS from now on are screwed. Scar FTW ?!?!

Fawki -- show me one way to get that sub-node from accessing a site or in java. sure they have you ip but your ip is *.*.*.* not *.*.*.*/* or *.*.*.*:* thats why games like starcraft or warcraft3 if you behind a router with more than one computer conencted to it you cannot create a game it shoots request to an ip but the ip is spread over a few computes,, if the subnode i known then it will work but as you can see its not accessable especially if your behind a router cause the router takes the ip address and feeds a fake subnet one to everything behind the router for exaplme 192.168.1.1 There is no way for them to know.

and edit: if they did know how come none of my accounts are banned i've been running more than one account on the same computer for weeks using test verisions of UBI with very crappyscripts.

virtual machines will still be completely fine then... in my mind they can never stop VM's, since this would cut out too many legitimate players... like kids playing on school LAN's etc.

Or they could just do somthing like this:

Player1/ip1.1.1.1: trade Player2
Player2/ip1.1.1.1: trade recieved

Either way, Iamadam's idea seems more logical.

for runescape to works u need a proxy that supports java script...so far i have tried at least 70 proxyes at my school to get around our stupid sonic wall...but so far i haven't found one that suports java...oh and if anyone know how to get around sonic wall other then proxyes please tell me...me and my freind already tried looking through our admin's cookies for the admin login url but we couldn't find it...he's so stupid he didn't enable url protection :P

Its called a socks 5 proxy. I made a thread about it in here in this forum. A normal proxy doesnt work with java. Just go to my thread about socks proxys. You can use them with 2 seperate internet browsers such as ie and firefox and multi login on unsigned easily.

I used to use a sock proxy and login on aryan all the time. And yes the socks ip you input in your browser or into the java control panel is the ip that shows up on runescape when you login.

Is there a way to find stable proxy servers 24/7? because I know of a swell program you can use to open up, Clients(Ie, swiftswitch, or normal RS client) as well as internet browsers, all the while behind a socks 5 proxy, I beleive its called.. Sockcap, If I am not mistaking. Anyways...more info later..

All I do is go to a place where no one is and drop the items, and get it with the other account. I haven't been banned.

There are stable proxys. But you gotta usually pay for those. They are basically a pay service. I now just log internet explorer on a proxy and firefox on normal after deleting my uid and using unsigned on one of them and I dont have any worrys as its 2 serperate ips trading with ea other.

Ill have to look into this, but I am almost 100% sure that if you use the unsigned client that runescape cannot detect if you are running 2 accounts on the same computer

Yea, It can only prove that you're running them from same connection which they can't use to prove anything. You can just say you own internet caffe, or you have more computers in your house that are behind router (that should explain the same IPs) and since unsigned client doesn't save UID, they can't really determine are they on same computer unless they check for java app key or something that every computer has different.

What Iamadam was talking about would be a good way to catch us, we just unleashed good idea to jagex, let's hope they don't implement it. Anyway have your friend to help you with trading and try to find RL friend (maybe not even an RS player, just let him log on your account and do the trade) since other people might steal your char/stuff [Had some experience (lost few mills but hey.. I learned my lesson).

It's not such hard offence tho, you might get few day ban, it's not hard as macroing which usually gives perm ban if you had any black marks :) [My miner that I made with aryan gained like 70 lvls in few days. They weren't too hard on him, first they gave 7 days ban for macroing, and when I did offence again it was perm ban.] SCAR Autoers never got banned, they might not progress very fast like they did with aryan but it's more secure and bigger chances to keep it at high levels :)

Well back in the aryan days I use to not only multiple login with one computer and trade, but I also autoed on my main in the back ground and pked on my pure in the front.. Never got banned but that was before the big update...

Also Does anyone know if i could get banned for playing with 2 players on differnt worlds. Wht I mean is I am fishing on my main in a window in ..for example world 1.. and training pure in world 3.. both at same time.. Can i get banned for this?

sorry guys, we've got off topic a bit, but....da_professa, I often log into 2 different worlds on the same computer and train, Always with my main and my best skiller, I usually stay at the same place and train the same skills at the same time, as it makes it a bit easier to concentrate, then I just drop trade to my main..I know this may not seem like alot to all of the advanced users of "autoers" here, but, gaining twice the resources at the same time is a plus to me. I have not had any problems with getting banned, I have been doing this for a 2+ years now, but not every day, maybe just for a few hours once a week or so...I have lost a few big trades do in WHOLE to my laziness not to find a more secluded place to do my trading "lesson learned there"....I'm not sure how this way of playing will look to RS and their new tactics though.

hey this gives me an idea.. I don't think I can script this, but wouldn't it be cool if we can have acounts logged into different worlds, and autoing on both ... Like for example power mining.. we can have two acount power mining in different worlds.. Is that possible to script or it isn't..
