i like pretty much all music but, my favorite genre is rock! :fiery:
some of my favorite bands are Red hot chili peppers, Good Charlotte, Rise Against, Linken park, nickle back, and sum 41. :D
My band plays hardcore punk/ska. By that I mean we play our fair share of black flag covers, husker du, vivisuk, discharge, and the occasional Leftover Crack and choking victim. All of our originals are heavily influenced by two-tone ska, crack rock steady and punk.
Recently we just hopped on a record label and will be releasing a cd soon.
Big into early ska and early dis-core/hardcore punk when it comes to what I listen too.
When I play guitar though at home I often play the blues just because when I started guitar eight years ago that's what my grandfather started teaching me and it's stuck ever since. Bass guitar I play alot of reggae and ska. Drums...just thrash stuff.

Anyway, I'm completely and utterly into SKA, especially Streetlight Manifesto and their brand new album. It's all I've listened to for the past month. Just an amazing album, you can google, Streetlight Manifesto Somewhere in the Between if you want to find songs to listen to. I recommend all, but my favorites are:
"Down, Down, Down to Memphisto's Cafe", "One Foot on the Gas, One Foot on the Grave", "Somewhere in the Between", "Blonde Lead the Blind", "The Receiving End Of It All [Love this song], might be behind DDDTMC for my fave", "We Will Fall Together", "What a Wicked Gang Are We", "Forty Days; Another big favorite)". Basically just named every song on the album besides "Would You Be Impressed?" and "Watch it Crash". Those two songs aren't amazing, but I would still listen to them enjoyably if you forced me.
