There is a huge group of mods and admins going around runescape banning every autoer they see. What they're looking for is basically lvl 3's with random names like wnkkjg3 . So if you guys are autoing, i advise you guys to at least have high lvl accounts (higher than three at least) and reasonable names. Just wanted to inform you guys on what was going down.

Good. We don't condone people autoing with default clothes and similar names and CB lvls lower then 20. So I hope they all get banned.

Mods can not ban, only Admins can.
Well, I should work for JagHex and help ban teh lvl 3's and leave SCAR untouched ;)
Haha, why don't they just do a db sweep and ban all level 3's w/ related names?

Well we don't get affected if we auto properly.
Well we should because of the CB rule. Plus I don't know if this is still in effect, but scripts usually log out when the see a mod. So we are safe both ways.

This happens every couple of weeks/months. The JMods and PMods organise a time and world where they go bot-catching. I've done it before... its fun ;).

ehh, i havent seen mods do that that much, i think they probably were just doing that to intimidate autoers to show they stil exist, ive noticed that most mods hang around lumby though, so i try and watch out thier but, i dont think that the mods have been any more active recently
i agree with jagex on this, nothing bothers me like when i go to auto, and i see 30 lvl 3 default characters with names like wmd333 just runnin around, i usually report them, then go on to autoing myself :) does that make me a hypocrit?
JMods don't need to auto, they can just make their skills all 99 or spawn whatever items they need.Quote:
