Well.. i sold all my stuff about two days ago and I'm wondering when I should buy it all back. So far the exchange is still dropping in prices but I think that everything will even out really soon. Can someone suggest when I should buy my items back?
Dang, they've started dropping by a ton.
When do you guys think they'll start coming up again? Or will they continue to fall until they hit rock bottom and stay there unless Jagex does something...?

Then you could buy a bunch of santas at lets say... 20M, then use that method in reverse to raise the price way up by using rigged trades then sell all your santas at minimum sell value which would be like 30M (just an example)Quote:

I think Jagex should remove the +/- 5% thing altogether. Lets see what it does...
Positives (for Jagex)
1) Stops Price Manipulation (They've never really seen it as a problem)
2) Stops trading between accounts (somewhat, but people do it anyway...)
Negatives
1) RS Market is failing
2) Many players are annoyed
3) Many players will quit (first the Duel Arena and now this...)
I think the Negatives outweigh the Positives. Price manipulation isn't a big deal, and people know other ways to trade between accounts.
Their are pros and cons with anything JaGeX puts in, at least I sold 303k feathers :).

you all are braking it ahhh... ess went form 30 each to 19 and it's going to keep dropping.... and feathers are going to be 1 each soon and logs are going to be very very low.... so stop setting it to lowest that way we can get our money back up.... if we keep setting it at highest we can make the price skyrocket... we own the market there for why don't we manipulate it into our favor.... the majority of items like logs and ess and ore well anything the can be macroed is sold by us therefor if we set the sells at the highest amount we can get the prices up....but thats only my thought.... all that hard work you had your macros do is becoming nutting but pocket change when it use to be mills... now lets turn the tables and make it to where we double are profits... see if we can make ess 60 each... then think of how much money you would make... and i don't want to hear that bs about that being to much... people will buy....

Think about the amount of people in rs using other types of autos to get goods, not to mention all the legit players that get tons of items as well. We can not do this by ourselves. Well I would figure that people would try to sell for the highest price possible, however the case seems that a lot of people are selling goods at the lowest price. I would think that people are maximum profit-seeking people, but the price continues to steadily fall sadly.
Well it depends if you are autoing for selling your millions or using it on a main.
If you are selling the millions of rsgp like me its not looking so bright.
If you are just using it for playing ruescape nothing is really going to change because with the value of your macroed goods going down also is the items you are looking to buy so soon it will even out for you.
i dont like it that much it makes world 1 and 2 more empty harder to buy harder to sell and if you sell it there at The Grand Exchange! it will be lower prize so i hope we can fix somthing with the prizes there.
rs gp will be worth alot more. good for gold sellers. this is jagex trying to control the economy. they ass fucked ( sry for the language ), merchanting.
they dont want their economy going down the drain but it will eventually since the autoers can buy and sell so easily now.Quote:

The only reason why they added it was so that they could change the prices of items. It really sucks and it takes forever to actually sell something. So for now I wouldn't suggest using it.
