Zengh would have been utterly disappointed knowing all of his 5000 bots dead.
The Game lacks leadership and wisdom. Instead of beating this with a collaborate effort, the staff has chosen the easy way out. Instead of IP-banning, hunting down and suing hackers they choose to affect EVERYBODIES GAME.
And you know what?
This wont stop bots at all. If there is one thing bots have over legitimate players is: time. Bots have all the time in the world. They dont mind trsading 3k goods once every 15 minutes or so. I bet they are already adepting the new rules in their pity applications.
This update transformed the Multi-Player (MMORPG) into a Single-Player (MSORPG). Bad decision.

So let me get this straight. Most people on SRL use their macro armies just to get good stuff for their main? I personally advance each character individually, gaining personally stats an skills to make each self sufficient. When I do periodically trade, I am trading something in close worth, like some cooked fish for 200 willow logs.

Personally, i think they killed PKing as of the release of RS2, so the changes in PKing don't really affect me.
This will almost completely stop noob beggars from asking for free stuff.
You can still transfer wealth via combat items, aka Saradomin armor, Trimmed Rune, etc.
Buy as many logs as possible, since the supply will be going down a ton.
(just bought 40k Willow at 22 each.)

I had to work this morning so I didnt really get the whole story til I got home. but before I left I saw rs was updated, so i skimmed over it, but i had to leave.
I was thinking about it, and yes, the game is ruined. Kinda makes me sad, but i do think it was in some way sort of necessary with the amount of gold-farm sites being spammed, trees and rocks being raped, and all that stuff. Im in some way happy because I wanted to get my life away from runescape, and this will make it alot easier. I will be checking on the status of this though because I do believe they will reverse this in some way, if not improve it so that it doesnt affect legits and simple autoers like us.
but for now, 1 word....potatos!! right now there worth approx. 15 ea at the grand exchange, lets make the price skyrocket so you can eventually trade like 500 potatos for 1m:D
