EDIT: no effencient ways have been found, if you've thought of a possible, not ovious way of transfer. please post, i will test, or know for a fact if it will not work, if i think it will i will test, if it works i will post it on this post. so get thinking SRL!

Anyways, I find this idea very confusing, as all of the suggested ideas.

I kind of get what your saying, and in theory this should work. The only downside to this is getting people to actually do this, just to start the process up and also the fact that this could only work for a certain period of time, until it is discovered by others.
well ok i know it sounds insane, because it is.. but it's that only way and if every one would colaborate i think i would work, but thanks for the feed back no the less.

It would work... It's just a little hard to get everyone to do it. If someone made a script for it, I'd run it.
yeah getting the thousands of said items is easy part it's selling and buying it
to raise the price....
you could just toss the coinage between two parties (accounts) so one buys 1000 onions, then reposts them at max price, the other buys em... and you keep going. (like dual boxing, and bottomfeeding "WoW term")
many people (me included) used to play a dirty scam called bottom slapping, there was an addon that would buy any item in the auction house (kinda like the GE) that was rediculously underpriced and rehost it. so for a few weeks you would post a rare but useless item on the AH for 10 000G (thats alot of money) post about 10 over and over and over... after a few weeks the bottom feeders would pick up on the sudden increase in price and raise the average price of it to close to 10k because it would have rarely seen it at any price. after that period (usually 3-4 weeks, you would go on another character and list one or two of the same item you just listed at 10 000G for anything from 150-7000G and the bottom feeders would buy it and throw it back into the AH at 10 000G because they thought it would make profit....
how abt some one make a scar script which will pick potatoes or cabages for us, and i am willing to do this process between two of my accounts

abusing the GE is prolly easy to spot by Jagex...
why not get mules to 40 def, use macro-ed money to buy god armour, then BH? (obviously no pl8 unless you did drag slayer)
thats only thing i can think of... cuz 40 def is easy (assuming your cb 20+ already) and god armour is only cb item thats worth more than 50k (in f2p)
only prob wit this is if your main is 100+ cb ;-) then you just need a few accounts...
This could work. I think there would be a way to transfer items using multi logging when doing this. But we wouldnt need to do it to that extreme of raising prices. What we would need to do is get an item that people never use and would never put in the GE. But would be very easy to get a hold of like 10k+ of it. Yes potatoes and cabbage stuff like that would be easy to do. Cabbages would be easier to get a hold of i think because i seen people selling lots of cabbages, another good one for members would be potatoe seeds. Will edit in sec going to look at GE prices.
On paper it looks nice but in reallity it will prolly only take one person to realize the price differance and it's all blown. Then everyone would be picking cabbages and selling them taking the money out of the loop and buying other stuff. What could be done as an alternate would be to stop selling goods and have the prices sky-rocket and then sell them all at once for jacked up proces and have the price come tummblin down again. That would show Jagex how much other players need us to "survive" and they might stop beeing overly stupid.
One potential problem is how quickly the prices on GE will update.
They might only adjust the prices once per week, and then only by 5%. I don't know how that works, but something like that would make this take a -very- long time.

I have a good idea. You must agree to what the main post says if not do not proceed.
Guyz they made a flaw in it. The 5% + and -. There is no need for us to change the value of any item. All we got to do is find a nice item, and multi log and send about 30 mins transfering gold from your autoer to your main. Buy the item low and then resell it high. I realized this as i put up about 5k oak logs when the GE came out and they have yet to sell. why? because they are like 30 something each. So lets say on your main you decide to use normal logs. The low is 32 and the high is 36. So you buy 10k for 32ea. You put them back up for sale for 36ea. On your autoer you place an order for 10k normal logs for 36ea. Then quickly check and see if it went to your main. If not try again. Once it does, confirm them for 36ea. Wow you just made 40k from your autoer. The key thing is the 5& change rate. But remember to repeat the process you need to get the items back to your main some how. You could drop trade them but only in 3k increments.
Aran, that's a good idea. But instead of drop trading the items back to your main, you could sell them for the low price on your autoer to make some of the money back. Then your autoer would get more money and you would still make 40k on your main.

Feathers are 5 each. If you sell to macro account for 6 each you make 20% profit instead of 5%. If you buy at 4 ea and sell 6 ea you make 50% profit in the transfer.
And there should be TONS sitting on the exchange waiting. If not there's always the Chickenkiller to re-stock. :)
Yes, but drop trading them back might work a little faster because the other person has to click the collect button in order for you to receive the goods. It wouldnt matter what item you choose as long as it has a low GE value but is high enough to use the full 5% + and -. Just remember the lower the price of the item the more you can drop trade at a time, but the less of the 5% + and - you will get. Oak logs at the moment are about 12-16 i think. those would be good you can drop trade about 180ish each time.

Guys dont sweat it this happened 2 years ago and the macroers in 2 months were back on their feet again and were massively macroing

^^ would take forever to trade over 1m worth of coal. We are used to drop trading over 1m worth of coal. But if we could in corporate this into a script it may work. Drop trading and logging in and picking it up. That may work out. Please give some hint when using white text add a smillie or something at the end. :sasmokin:

yeah but making a drop trading scripts would be DOUBLING the time it takes to make money...

You people are missing the obvious, just stop selling for a while. The problem is getting people to participate.

I don't think this strategy would work. People you should have noticed that there are lower limit of price range for each item so a market price would never drop below that point. Similarly I believe there is a higher price limit for each item which the market price does not go beyond it. Maybe someone can prove me wrong.

somehow I don't think this would work, and if it did, it would take so many people cooperating on such a large scale that it would near impossible to coordinate it effectively.
Cabbage thing wont work you can only buy/sell for 1gp...

I auto on my main anyway, seeing as how I've had to make a new one, because I can't remember details for my old one. I figured I got nothing to lose, so I may as well.
The market is flooded with feathers, so you can't currently re-sell them for 5 gp.
However, this could be done with thread. You can buy any number of them at crafting store for 4 gp each. Then sell to your main through GE for 3 gp each. Then sell back to autoing accounts for 4 gp each. 33% wealth transfer per transaction.
Once you're done moving all your money, you can sell back to the crafting shop for 2 gp each, so it does cost some money to do it all, but it should be possible.
This would take WAYY too much time, effort, and time. We autoers aren't really effected by the new update; at least some of us weren't- cause some of us autoed for our own personal benefit of levels and pking(now bounty hunting, and since pking is gone you will be forced to relief your pressure of pking by killing the KQ and dagganoth kings and such).
Besides, you wouldn't be making any money. Your selling and buying against yourself in order to increase the market value of a certain item.

This idea is really 'pushing' it. I mean it would work in theory but there are current methods that are much more time efficient and relatively safe.
Your autoer takes 4 million gp to Crafting house. Buys 1 million thread, which all stacks in one spot in your inventory, so no banking necessary. Autoer then walks to Grand Exchange. Sells all for 3 each.Quote:

Every time you do this transaction, you trade 1 million gp from your autoer to your main. If your autoer started with 20 million, you do it 16 times and end up with 0 gp and 1 million thread. Your main ends up with 0 thread and 16 million gp.

And of course, if you have an entire army each with millions of gp to transfer, you can have them use the same lump of thread everyone else is using, just by having them buy at 4 gp next transaction and then start selling back and forth.

You don't HAVE to do thread. You could do any item. There are thousands to choose from on the GE.
The easiest ones to do, obviously, are stackable items you can buy from shops, and that have very low values, and are not highly consumable so demand is low. Lots of things are only worth 1 max, so they don't work. But I'm sure there are lots and lots of other things that could be used as well.
Go find a different unique item like this for yourself and there should be no problem whatsoever.
