I'm a noob at Flash, errr..let's just say a Work In Progress. I want to be able to make websites. I can do tweening and all. But cartoons just wouldn't be me. It's a lot of work. The professional ones barely tween. They edit every frame to make it as fluid and lifelike as possible.
Good, but the animation sucks. Maybe you should try drawing it all from scratch. I know it takes a while in flash but it would look better. And I have another idea.
You know the menu tabs? Maybe you should make them work, you'd just need a movie clip with a frame for each tab. Then, in every frame you could use a movie clip or button that you click with the actionscript something like:
By the way, the 'stats' bit is a way of linking to frames without using numbers. You can name them, I think its in the properties box. Then you could have the stats tab labelled 'stats' and so on and link to them from buttons.Code:gotoAndPlay('stats');
Finally, try and clean up what you already have. If there is text boxes, turn off selectable text (properties again) unless they are for inputting text. For example, you shouldn't be able to select the text on the (evidently fake) loading screen.

I was looking into profesional character moving, they use arrays, if i can find it again ill show you, the preview was very smooth. The character was moving the army legs and its foot, looked very good.Quote:

Yeah I just watch those Lynda.com videos from thepiratebay.org when I'm free. And the guy basically had a movie clip. In the movie clip, he pivoted the foot from the ankle, so he could make it go back and forth like that. Then took all those actions, and reversed them for the other leg+foot, so he was walking.Quote:

Wow nice, its better than when i first played. Looks like it might be a lil fun. Keep adding more options. Like throw rock, or blank, or blank. Makes the game more fun.
