No Random Events!!

Right well, I made this thread so we can gather ideas on places there are no random events for sure.

100% Confirmed

• Mage Training area
• Pest Control bank / boat (need combat 40+ for boat) **Read the update
• Dharok's Tomb or any other tomb, near Canafis.
• Burthorpe Games Room, use a games necklace to teleport there.
  

Un-Confirmed Areas

• Duel Arena, the place you can watch others duel. Go to the top of the duel arena, and stay in a spot on the walkways that is directly in between two of the fighting areas.
• In your own house. Combat ring/Boxing ring/Dungeon. If you die, you won't lose anything since you are in your house.
• Pillory Pete random, in the cage. Alch or cast teleport spell as much as you want.
• Any boat, just pay 30gp to a trip somewhere and don't get off.

Feel free to add ideas or confirm some of these!

If you want to prove one of these unconfirmed sightings wrong, please take a screenshot of the area with some sort of random near you or near someone else.


Please do not copy this list...I used my own time to make it and I would hate to see someone just copy and paste to another forum. If you want to post this on another forum, just link to this thread.

You got me excited. I thought Runescape stopped all random events, haha. And are you 100 percent sure Duel Arena is no randoms? I know it was before but I heard someone saying it was no longer.

Duel Arena gets randoms.

The Games Room (Tele there with a Games Necklace) gets none.

I am about 90% sure that i got the sandwich lady on a boat once, can anyone else confirm?

you cant alch in caves. Also do u need to go anywhere special in games room?

this is nice and all, but how does this help anyone?...just fill me in?...

So when you auto you don't have to waste time with the randoms that'll mess you up.

Edit: I got the scaperune random on top of the duel arena last night.

ok....but what are u supposed to auto in those locations? fletch? lol...u also need pic proof..?

edit: wait can u get random in a fight..i dont rember..but if u cant, cant u just hit somthing weak and have auto retaliate off?..kinda anoying i know...

the pest control one is outdated it nolonger work you can still get randoms its just less often

I think theres no randoms in godwars dungeon , castlewars,burthorpe games room or in any mini-games (theres 28 different mini games)

That you can't get randoms. doens't mean that you can't get flagged.

No, this doesn't work. I've been fighting monks for quite a while now, and I've gotten the evil chicken random and a big load of other randoms while fighting these monks...The monks stop attacking you, and the random takes over.

Also, you train magic by alching in no random areas...

We will need pictures if you want to prove one of these confirmed or unconfirmed sightings wrong...Please.

Your home gets randoms, and PC bank may not have any cuz of the 100+ people in such a small area..

How about PC Bank in an empty world?

I'm autoing fletching right now at PC bank, we'll find out if we get randoms or not. I'll take screenies...

im pretty positive pest control doesnt have randoms but wizzup? said there were so i guess he would know... but i would still like some screenies of one.

This was at pest control bank...I ALWAYS get a random after 15 loads. But, I've done 37 loads and not one random!

The script stuffed up and reported Found Compass. Probably because I started it while logged in...I log back in and it's still at bank with yew longs in inventory.

Going to run it now for as long as I can, only logging out after 100 loads for 1 minute, then back in...

I can 100% confirm, within each of the mage training arena chambers you don't get randoms.

Well...Go through the skills menu and see which ones you can do just at a bank, or without a bank.

Randoms occur in the altars...
Randoms occur in PoH's in general.
There should be another thread about this, btw.

Get some pics to prove me wrong... :).

I have been in Pest Control bank for over 4 hours no, still no random...

And I can 100% confirm that you get randoms at runecrafting altars.

1 hour doesn't prove anything. Even 1000 hours doesn't prove anything. The entire name "Random Events" implies that they will be random. You could flip a coin 10,000 times and get all heads, the results are random. You did prove that the rates could be lower than other banks though.

i've tried that one when i was alching in my house, got evil chicken which killed me and i respawned outside portal, then my friends told me around 6 minutes later i got dr jekyll and almost lost 5m of alchs =S

but i think u still get random events in the combat ring.

u can if you're burying a bone i think, and i've had randoms while i trained at dags and bandits.

u can't bring any non-combat items in cwars, and u also get randoms if you alch on the walls.

frankly jagex can update the game at any time and put randoms whereever they want.

Not really;lots of players can complain about getting randoms while fighting JAD in Fight Caves, and so they'll remove randoms all together inside Fight Caves. Which is what they did...

Same with other areas. People complain, they remove.

Can you get randoms within Prison Pete?

I don't think you can alch on Scaperune...Is that Prison Pete?

anil you just posted 5 times in a row... edit your post so u only use one... You cant alch at scape rune i just tried it takes away the whole magic section to click on...

What happens if you use a teleport tablet in that 'escape' sequence?

I wasn't autoing... Random free doesn't mean you have to be autoing. I randomly went up there and got a random.

Why would I need picture proof? It's either believe me or don't believe me.

Fight cave safespot is probably the best place. Since no other people can disturb you since you're in there alone (as long as you don't get attacked that is).
