srl help

i dunno what i am doing wrong i have
scar 2.03 with srl with srl
and scar 3.13 with srl 4.10 or somthing just says 410

and no scripts work for me on either i just want a auto fighter and a flax picker i get errors like

I think your scripts are outdated

- The includes\SRL\SRL\Extended folder been taken out since SRL4 i think
- includes\BoxBreaker.txt i've never known it being used, so i guess it's ancient

includes\BoxBreaker.txt yea that was before SRL's time back with Squig and SSI2 or whatever, its just that your scripts are too old, check out the junior member scripts, the majority of them should be up-to-date

but it is happening when i use the goblin killer script here and the chicken killer script and the flax and all none work that are on the first page here i get this error for the fighter for new ones

With the new scripts use 3.13 with SRL 4 (Rev 10). Don't use 2.03. And if that doesn't work try using Scar 3.12 instead. Make sure you have subversion (so you have the revs)which you can find out how to install here.

Your scripts aren't up-to-date! Very few of the First scripts/ Free for all scripts can be used with the new rev (some don't even use the latest SRL). Any script you run that looks for a file in SRL\Extended is too old to use. Instead, post another few useful posts and wait a week, then you can access the juniour member scripts which have quite a few updated to the new SRL (rev #10).

Exactly what scripts are you using, theres a million flax pickers out there :P

As for Narcles Fast Fighter, you're doing something wrong, I just tried it and it compiled. I suggest you

1) (re)download Scar 3.12
2) redownload subversion and srl
3) then before saying that scripts don't work, try QuickPowerMiner by Timothegreat(That one cause I know it works :p) and if that doesn't work, then you did something wrong. If that works, but others don't work, then the others are bad/out-dated scripts.

The error with Narcles Fighter is caused by you not having your plugins installed properly I think. I'm pretty sure CreateTPAFromBMP is in a plugin. Make sure you've installed Subversion properly and you're using SCAR 3.12c or SCAR 3.13. With Subversion installed you should be able to get the latest SRL with all the proper plugins.

As for the flaxing picker you're out of luck unless you know how to update it. It too old and probably won't work even if you get it to compile.

None of the scripts will work unless you get SRL 4 Revision 10 through Subversion. All your problems are caused by this. Read the thread that rikjess linked you to in the above posts.

ok i have that but what do i do with it it has just been on my desktop for like a week i don;t know what to do with it

It should explain it all in the tutorial. Basically you need to install Subversion. Then you install SCAR 3.12c or 3.13. In SCAR, go to Tools -> Options. Go to the SRL Download tab on the left side. You should get two options - Regular Download and Subversion Repository. Click Subversion Repository (if you can't click it then you haven't installed Subversion properly). With that selected you should see some more options and buttons. Click 'Checkout'. That should download SRL with all the required Plugins and includes.

Step 3- Uninstall any instances of SCAR or Subversion you may have on your computer

Step 4- Run the two installers that you downloaded in the first 2 steps

Step 5- Once they are both installed, open SCAR

Step 6- Once in SCAR, go to Tools and then Options

If you still cant run your scripts after that, then you need some SERIOUS help.

If you're running Windows Vista, then make sure you run scar as an administrator (Right-click -> properties -> compatability). If not, then you can manually move them by going into your root scar folder (C:\Program Files\Scar) then go into includes, SRL, Place inside plugins folder and copy all the files (not including the greyed out svn folder) and go back to the scar root folder, open the plugins folder then paste the files into it. That should fix the error you were getting, if it was because of the plugins not being installed correctly.

ok your second link leads to a scar banner and i have the first one

ok i get a new error it isn't with teh plugins but i followed your guide and this is what i get

Try installing scar 3.14/3.12c as some versions of scar can be a bit 'buggy'. The only reasonable explanation though is that you haven't got SRL installed properly as most problems are normally fixed after a couple of re-installs. Also, please use the Edit button in future instead of double posting.
