Haha, what do you guys think of this crazy script idea?

Well, I wanted to create something, which has never been created before. Something classic, something humorous, something... new.;)
So, I walked around runescape a bit, and when I came to lumbridge castle, there was a noob asking someone to give him a little tour, and there my idea was sparked! :spot:
My idea is to create a little guide, which will make the character walk through the close by envoriment, and say some comments about it, while doing some emotes, and some other neat stuff. Now, what do you guys think of that idea? :D

EDIT: Haha, I just got an even funnier idea, but still the same script: someone with a members account could post a thread in runescape saying something like: we are proud to announce that after lots of training, we have successfully trained some players to be awsome tourist guides through the land around lumbridge, we appear in world [enter main world here], but to random hours, but do not be afraid, we have so many trained people, that we will be runnign almost around the clock. Feel free to tip our empoyees. ". Now, if I make the script multiplayer on changing shifts, there would acutally be a nice litttle way to earn a bit of money. :D

I wonder if Jagex would be so cruel as to ban the tour guides...

IMO this would be a good idea for Jagex (to make characters that walk around showing people around all of runescape)

Walking is the thing I am best at. but also I am making (realize how I used the time: "present"? :D) it so there are always 3 or so random options to choose, which will describe the destination. :)
But knowing jagex a bit, I have not a doubt that once they catch wind of it, they will ban every single touriste guide, because they would think it will spam the worlds full. XD (so paranoid :p)

Alright, now I am calmed down a bit... still, I hate turning on my pc, in a good mood, and then seeing something like this... Oh well.
Well, anyway, this is how many things I am currently planning to visit, tell me if you guys think smething should be added:
-Lumbridge Bank
-Lumbridge Cook (with special stove :D)
-Cow Area
-Chicken Pen
-Fishing spot by the goblins
-Sheep (Including "the thing" ;))
-Forest on the way to draynor
-Swamps (including the mine)
-Graveyard and church
Well, that's all I am planning to do so far, any more suggestions?

Great idea Stur Pure! It would not be very beneficially to us (3k trade limit :() But it would still be very cool!

The real purpose of this script is not to gain money, but mostly for me to gain scripting experience, and also, it would be the first script which would actually sorta support jagex together with runescape. lol
But the tip thing is just an idea, a little side way to maybe earn a tiny bit of side cash. :D

god you have come so far since we met actually how did we meet? oh well gotta get to the point may i assist you in making this script? i dont know much but i got a little walker to work the other day with a little training im sure i can be the man for the job if you need a hand that is.

Well, there really isn't anything for you to do... I'm sorry, but I am getting along really well, and I have sorta my own scripting style as well, and I will definelty get messed up if I try to (for example) update a script to new srl versions. But there is one thing you could do... remember that we wanted to make an essence miner together a while back? Well, what you could do is create a function, which checks where we are, and act accordingly. (this is for when we are in the mine, because we get teleported to different spots in the mine). If you could do that, then there would be much less to work on, and we could focus on doing the walking, adding failsafes and other stuff. :D

is it like going to be when people walk up to you, and then you tell them whats going on.

or they ask you question whereas you dont listen and then you write this whole thing that is pointless to the newcomers.

it would be good if there was a question and answer thing, and if there is a question that scar cant recognise(by that i mean that you havent already put a question thing in) then it says good question ill see that through or something, then it just prt scrn's it, then u can read the question later on, and just incase someone asks the same thing you add that question in with an answer.

just some ideas. :)

Who says it needs a random event in order for it to randomly log out? :D There is nothing more fun than watching a group of tourists who have been completely mislead lose their guide. ;)

Ah, I'm just joking around, but the progress is astonishing: It already gets to lumbirdge, walks to the bank, walks to the cook, and back in the courtyard. It does not have an auto-responder up to this point, but it does have a halfway random description of the visited places (you know, like "case random(3) of") and it talks while waiting for the flag to disappear (I used this in order to set the mood against jagex's new updates. not solemly, but it does have a few comments which should make them want to try out good ol pking, or merchanting, but it also makes it clear, that it is no longer possible :D).
Also, I created it so that the stuff the player says while walking is not repeated. So he won't say the exact same thing more than once.

i love it, can't wait for it, just watch my computer in amazement as it takes a bunch of noobs on a tour of lumbridge...you should throw in a "mood swing" option where in the middle of any given tour the person can just freak out walking randomly and insulting the tourists :p
