Setting Up Scar DIVI and SRL Repository

- Getting SCAR & Subversion -
Alright, welcome to my tutorial, during this tutorial, it will briefly explain how to setup SCAR and SRL. (Animated Photos, explained steps, links, and more!)

Ok first start off by downloading the latest version of scar, located here.
Next, you will want to get the latest version of Subversion, which will be the updater for SRL, as SRL is done through a SvN system.
Click here to download the Subversion MSI (installer).
If that's outdated, get the latest version from here Get a Stable Version.
Download and install Both SCAR and Subversion, you can keep all the settings of the installers the same.

- Setting up SCAR to get SRL from the main Subversion Rev -
First, make sure you've shut scar after you downloaded Subversion, re-open scar...
Click Tools...

Hit Options...

Hit SRL Download

Hit Subversion Respiratory...

Hit Check Out...

Congratulations, you just downloaded SRL, and set-up SCAR!

- Updating SRL! -
To check if your SRL need updated, click File...

Now, if you see something like this, click it, and SRL will update.

- Setting some main SCAR settings -
Click Tools...

Hit Options...

Now, if you have a rather slow, or a computer with low ram, to reduce lag while scripting... Hit Code Hints...

Hit code hints it to False...

Now, make sure BOTH SCAR Fire Wall settings are set to Allow All...

Congratulations, you now have SCAR and SRL setup, your ready to Auto!!

any ideas for running your first script?
(the other parts, I did, just, any suggestion on what to explain?)

Make sure you tell them to read the directions posted on the thread of where the script was downloaded. Because a lot of scripts can be outdated, or might have specific rules, or anything else that they must follow.

^^ for setting up first script.

Also you can tell them about the threads that have things like "The best and most updated scripts" "Battal of the scripts" and w/e else there are. Cause those are helpful in finding the script you want.

No, I've asked how do I get svn like 3 times, and people keep on referring me to other posts... how do I get svn?

just look at the FAQ, hit Click Here and Download & Install that... its Subversion Repository

Yea, I got it. But why did you have us replace the default SRL thing with the one you posted? What's the difference?

Any Ideas For You Want Me To Explain More?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I followed this tutorial (just to get SMART), and whenever I use a script, scar closes out, and nothing happens. I can see it in the task manager, but it isn't doing anything, because I can still log into my accounts. Any help?

Very good guide. I didn't at first install the subversion or w/e so I could click the thing. But, very good I use this everytime I setting up SCAR on different comp :)

ffs getting this error when running the small script that stores password/username:

Include file C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\Bitmap.scar does not exist.
Include file C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\DTM.scar does not exist.

i do have subversion and i did install the newest SRL through SCAR, just like this guide said. im using SCAR Divi 3.15. support please, wish to learn ^^

That script is out dated, those have been removed... Try What I Suggested In My Tut...

would you be able to post a screen cap of what the DeclarePlayers bit should look like when its filled in?

Just to add, isn't a good idea to keep a copy of the SRL.scar in case you don't want to use SMART anymore..?
