Oh yeah, sorry I've been busy over the last week or so...Anyway, I'm sorry to say that when I try to use this, nothing happens...SMART doesn't pop up, and nothing else happens, no errors, nothing...It can't be my SMART, because other scripts work on it...Sorry about the late posting mate...

3 Posts in the last 10 minutes about people who don't read, all in the Fletching forum

Recently teh Jagfags decided to change world prefixes there for SMART doesn't know what to do and hangs, either change the prefix yourself or wait for Rev 15 (thats the right number, right?)

KoKouKo, I was on about a week ago, when I was able to use SMART, and this was the only script that didn't work for me...Sorry again...

Well you must be doing something wrong because i never had that bug and no one else has Atm. i uploaded a not smart one.

Oh, I thought it was SMART, because of in the title...Silly me...Anyway, I'm just about to test it. Fingers crossed...

I think there's are problem with the xp gained bit, it gets a bit excited, lol.
And I had the logs in the first bank slot, but sometimes it didn't find them, that's why the proggy's so short. Thanks anyway mate...

No, Right now theres a Smart Problem, but for now just use the none smart one, and ill try to fix that DTM so it works almost 100% of the time :D

not bad, but still im having this "small" bug. i start with knife in first inventory slot, and logs in first bankslot. it cuts the logs alright, everything fine this far. then, when it starts to bank the Longbows (u), puts my knife into the bank, and then starts to bank the longbows by choosing "X", and then typing "2", so it banks them 2 at a time. when they are all banked, it doesnt find the knife anymore from the bank, so the flecthing stops kinda short :/

my fault, or the problem in the script?

I think its not you or the script who's having trouble, but Scar/Smart or The newest Srl.
I'm having trouble with 3 scripts I try to run with fletching, they all give the same error.
I personally think the problem is in the newest Srl.;)

I had this but i downloaded the non SMART version and manually put SMART in myself.
Works fine that way.
Also allows me to chhose which world i go in so w/e

try putting the knife in the second slot and changing the script so it deposits all the logs.
Im sure there are like 8 posts explaining this in the Ultimate fletcher threads.



@the author of teh script.

Perhaps a good idea for a possible update is that you should declare what logs you are cutting and also put in the colors for a knife into the script, so that if one is not present in the inventory it withdraws one?
this would be a quick fix to the depositing knife problem in most fletcher atm...

finta, could you post the manually-added smart version? the one he posted with smart isn't working and i'd like to be able to choose what world to go into..

With the smart version, the first time it didn't work too well as it withdraws all logs, cuts them , bank them and then withdraws items that have the same colormarge (at th second bank withdrawal). What i did is, when the script executes the fixbank procedure i made sure all items at the top of the bank were of bright colors (i.e. yellow, red) to make sure the logs were the only brown looking items and therefore making it easier for your script to recognize.

As you can see, i made the script force to pick the logs at the second bankwithdrawal by adding the banking procdure. Before i changed it, it will trie to pick the logs with the second bankwithdrawal (5 trials) , but as i mentioned the problem before, the script has problems with colorrecognition (hereby mentioning the logcolors, as with me, it picked some onion seeds instead). After 5 trials it will then fail and logout. Therefore i disabled the logout procedure and forced a banking procedure to make sure the script keeps running until withdrawal succeeded.

These changes though are a bit messy, so what u should do, is to try to optimize the colors/DTM as that is where i THINK the problems lie :p .

When i changed these things in ur script, i beat the old proggie record!

Here are btw two suggestions for further improvement:

-Try to optimize the inventorychecking, as in to more often check wether it is filled with longbows, logs, or maybe seeds/rubbish, to make sure it does use a knife with the logs and not with something else.

-Optimize the DTMs like i mentioned in my earlier post.

hey evey time i use it it does the first part fine it banks it BUT
it then cant find the logs to get out of bank..
it gets it out by it self fine the first time.
but after you finish one set it doesnt work.

I didn't touch the script, I was having problems with it earlier and I didn't even touch it. I re-downloaded it and it fixed the other problem and this one came up.
