It works 100% for me.
Where do you use it, what colors do not work? Post em. :)
Same problem for me with FindLadderColor..
Whats happening?
I use it on the way from Falador East bank to the Air Altar - it first finds the rock color succesfully in the other needed places, then, there comes no loading screen, the color stays the same, but it fails to find it? :S
both findrockcolor and ladder color are working perfectly for me.. 100% of the time!
edit: what version of SCAR are you using? I notice there were a few color related fixes/tweaks within 3.15..
3.15 - Heureka! :D
eh not for me too
the draynor rock in the minimap
i use radial walk rockcolor=findrockcolor;
and
if radialwalk(findrockcolor,blallasladlaldla) then
doesnt work :( and i think they changed the water color a bit too?
32 bit colors?
Use the King Vash's fix in SRL Discussion.
Also, do you use 3.15?
nope scar 3.14
Water Color... is broken
...Use King Vash's fix in the SRL Discussion.
I have a picture of a rock on my mm -
http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/8018/wtfrockhp4.png
doesn't that look a bit adaman..tish? (the pixel sizes might not match true one since I enlarged it by hand in ms paint, but you get the idea)
If you compare that to one on worldmap, you know something is wrong.
I can garuntee FindVarrockRoadColor still works ;)
after playing around in a few locations with ladder and rock colours, opening new clients etc I can honestly say (at least with scar 3.14) that I have not had a single failure. All appears to be working 100% for me every time..
What script are you trying to run and have you tried reverting back to 3.14 to see if that still works?
a) Does not work with 3.14 properly either
b) My own script, read my post after Wizzy's for the problem...
n3ss can you please link us to the king vash fix please?
and yeah scar 3.15 doesnt even do it :S so yeah the water and rock :( bad
is it because we need a new dtm or bitmap idk which the function is using
The rock you posted still has the correct color/color relationship, 789772. And the color should fall within the tolerance range. So, it should have worked.
By the way, I recommend that people NOT use RRW(FindRockColor,....)
That's just asking for trouble. Grab the rock color one time and store it into a variable. Then do all your walking with that variable. Finding the same stable color 1000 times doesn't make any sense. It just opens the door for a weird error to occur and wreck your script.
Thanks tara :)
Argh - right when I had made some kind of autocolor function, appears to be I had just spent too much time on the same rs load, though I don't know can that affect it, but now the rocks look normal again...
Thanks everybody for trying to help.
as tara said store the variable once, don't keep getting it each time.
But also.. if it's your script that it's broken in, odds are that it's your code at that's at fault. Try someone elses script first to replicate the error before crying wolf.
I don't get it each time, I have a checker is there that color on mm anymore, if not, there's been a loading screen and it gets a new one...
Weird enough, if I just run only FindRockColor, it works fine...
Even if I log in and out?!
If you close the runscape client and re-open it the colour changes. if you just log out and in again to the same client it stays the same.
k well someone give me a suggestion , how to use it?
since its not smart using RW with it :S
thanks
In your setup procedure at some point when you expect a rock on the screen do...
RockColor:=FindRockColor;
Then from then on the color will never change. So just use RRW(RockColor...
yeah thats what i did wouldnt work :(
is there a auto color for the tree in draynor beside the bank ? :S and does finddraynorwatercolor work? or is being worked on atm
That's not completely true. with my color finder looks for at least 200 pixels of the last color (less for rock and more for water) if it finds that then it uses that as the color, otherwise it looks for the color again. I find that in 24 hours the water \ road \ rock change two or three times during a run
FindFaladorRoadColor broke after i'm trying to run it below fally south gate until i ended up to the magic store and when it went back it's way to back the falador color was not found and i'm sure the 7307660 and above which is much more brighter compare to the existing color.
I Have now tested this out extensively over many days, I have travelled to the far side of runescape and back again, I have switched worlds and closed and opened the runescape client many times..
My results were quite definative.
1) No matter how long the runescape client is open, no matter how far you travel, no matter how many time you log in or out or how many times you switch worlds.... as long as you don't exit the client the colours are constant and never change.
2) Exit the client and re-open it and the colour nearly always changes.
