Hey, I am confused here, every time I try to run a script, I get this error.
"Failed when compiling
Line 26: [Error] (26:1): Duplicate identifier 'UpChars' in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.02\includes\srl\srl\core\Globals.scar"
What the hell do I do? any help would be great, thanks. =D
i get the same thing... im a compleat noob so dnt b angry w/ me :(
when i run it on scar it said i don't understand it tell me the steps please please i don't get it

srl id# := (dont sill out you need to register for something else for id number)
srl pass :=(so the last 2 boxes aren't required - for green stats boxes<like in my sig>)

The last two are for SRL global stats. It allows scripts to send your proggys to a server so you can compare with other users of that script.
yes liek i said, the dont need to fill in the last to boxes. they are only for the green stat boxes in sigs (huge unmissable box in my sig with a lot of numbers)
If you get the "UpChars" error when you run SetupSRL.scar, then open SCAR and hit File --> Download SRL and wait for it to finish. That fixes it up nicely.
i downloaded it and extracted all the files and everything and i think your suppost to run the \Includes\SRL\SetupSRL.Scar with the scars program so i do and it opens a new tab "Globals.scars" and says this at the bottom

if you are using scar 3.0-3.02 you need to go file>Download srl then hen the setupsrl file. it downloads a slightly changed srl file for divi.

I did everything and I had to download 3.6 WinRar seeing as I didn't have it on comp. In the end where you said to open the Setup SRL I done that and it opened it in scar, and it hadn't shown the picture the same as your screenshot. So baisically, I'm on the final step. Please help

I attempted to run the Setup SRL scar script too, it said "Line 69: [Error] (69:13) : Unknown indentifier 'SRLVersionNumber' in script C:\SRL 360b without Manual\includes\SRL\SetupSRL.scar

Hi, ive been tryin to setup scar for a while n ive read many posts but i dont think im gettin anywhere... :( Ive downloaded the latest version of scar, 3.60b, and I think that means i don't need to download the Global patches, is that correct?
Also when I try to rune the SetupSRL script it keeps up coming with this error:

Looked through all the pages after getting the "upchar" error. Downloaded SRL from the file menu and all's good.

Please read before posting an error. It has been posted numerous times on the page.
Go to FILE | DOWNLOAD SRL and it fixes it.

i updated includes and plugins
nvm it work now :D
wtf when i try to open when im done downloading the 360b without manual thing it says canot open c:/program files/SCAR 2.03/360b etc...without manual rar
cmon tell me whats wrong

:DIf you are looking for the download button try the first page and scroll, the bar at the bottom of you screen, From left to right...:D

Wrong section...would be under general site discussion, but to answer your question press F5 or Refresh, the screen will show new posts with green orbs to the left and it will say logged in :D The forums are not like yahoo or google where the screen will automagicaly Refresh...

Well once agin I guess, Look on the first page... then move you mose to the bottom of the screen and move the bar to the left... the download button will be on the to right...(might need to scroll down a little...) it will be SLR 3.6 without mannual...Next person to post about the Download button will face the no responce...:D Hope this helps all people...

man im trying to work these scripts man getting harder when DIVI came out

well for divi you need to go File>Download SRL because it downloads a special suped up version for divi.
