[Tut] HowTo Transfer Items

[OUTDATED]

Loads of people have been asking about this recently. I've seen some threads on this around here, but non were too organized and didn't get far before dieing out. There are various methods to do it, not too many of which are too effective. Onto the methods!

(This is a pretty short tut *hears those with a short attention span cheering*)

Chaos Alter way

NOTE: Your autoer and main must have a high enough mage level to tele (NOT home tele) unless you're willing to risk all your items

Take your autoer and main to the Chaos Alter (Make sure you have a tele). Pick up the bones on your main then give them to your autoer for about 90gp each. A script for this probably wouldn't be too hard, with the exception of escaping from revenant ghosts, from which you would probably have to tele.

(Some credits to mr pager for helping me think of it)

Problem with this is that your autoer would have to then drop the bones or something of the like. If it's a script doing it though, it's possible.

The Eye of Newt way

Use gerauchert's or N1ke!'s Eye of Newt Buyers on your main (SRL Member+ only I believe?). They buy from the Port Sarim magic shop for 3ea. Then go trade them to your autoer for approx. 45ea. Not that useful, since you could sell them anyway on the GE.

The Monk Robe way

Run from the monastery to edgeville bank collecting the monk robes on the second floor (on your main). Then sell each set to your autoer for 1kea. This method is pretty slow though, and there aren't any scripts for it.

The Bounty Hunter way

Buy some armor/weapons on your autoer. Wait until the middle of the night and bring your autoer and main to bounty hunter. This would work best if you have some friends protecting you. Anyway, you have to kill your autoer and get his stuff. The only problem with this is that BH is almost always crowded. I went on at 1AM Eastern US once, and there were atleast 150 people in each crater.

Eye of New Way ALTERNATIVE

EDIT: This has been patched. Instead, use this with the food shop in port sarim (using different kinds of foods instead of just one)

IMO this is the best way I have found so far (I think I read it somewhere on these forums, forget where though...). You take your autoer and main to the Port Sarim magic shop. Buy Eye of newts for 3gp each on your main, then sell them to your autoer for the average price. Your autoer can then sell them back to the store for an extra 1gp a piece (it's also faster than dropping them). It would be really nice if somebody could make a script for this. One for the autoer, one for the main.

If you have any methods to add, post them and I'll credit you.

This one really depends on luck, but it is the quickes way, and it is a bit safer than bh, because in bh you lose all items, and in a dp (drop party), you have a pratty good chance of getting something (if you deposite a lot of things like rune armor and stuff). I have been using the buy from store sell to player whos standing there method. Very slow with eye of newts compared to the awesome old ways to do it. However i have a few items i'd like to share which work better:

What I did was mine a lot of it and made member my santa's account (Omg i left a santa on a newbie account before dec 17 update *fucking unbalanced trade*), so i traded 16.2mil worth granite (remember that, in that time granite was so expensive) per a santa. Now my main has it back and the "slave" one has arround 1mil worth in junk.

REmember when mining a whole inventory without dropping smaller pieces of granite will make a less profit!:duh:

nice, but i dont really understand the second eye of newt way. you also have a few typos, you should check over, they are easy to spot :p

You mean your main buys them for 3gp and sells to your autoer for like 50gp and autoers sells them back to the shop and waits for main???

Oops, yeah, I had autoer and main mixed up in the Eye of Newt alternative. I don't see any other typos though? Or was it just that?

Yup. One thing I suggest (a small detail, but might help nonetheless), is that when trading, you could be sure to trade the right amount of money by checking the 'Wealth Transfer' thing at the bottom of the trading screen. It tells you exactly how much it's worth. It'd probably be better doign it that way than having the user put it in (it might change overnight or something).

I don't quite get what you mean by 'What you can trade" :confused:

I doubt those chars would be in SRL, so if you could make them that'd be ownage xD

If you want to transfer 1m you have to trade 605 times. :eek:

Each transfer takes 20 sec by hand, probably about 35 sec with a good script. So if Timer releases that script, and it works, then you'll be able get that 1m in 21175 seconds, or 352 minutes, or < 6 hours of just letting a script run :) Hey, it's better than nothing :p

It would work even better if we found some item with an even bigger difference in price.

Hmm, good point...

You're right... Jagex will find it waaay too suspicious if all of a sudden hundreds of people start doing it, so it (the script) might have to be available to SRL Members+ only? But Timer can do whatever he wants with it :p

If he does put it in the Members section, that's a HUGE motivation for people to script, esp. if we tell them about it :p

The problem with that is

1) Most autoers don't have 32 (or was it 37) prayer
2) They only respawn like once every 2 minutes

i didnt even have to go late at night i just went to a non BH world and w000t got 1M drop =)) from me autoer

There's numerous ways to multi-log, look around the forums. I always just open SMART and and regular client.

Hmm, I tried it, and when I tried going in it said something like 'You cannot access Bounty Hunter on this world. Please take a look at the world list to see where you can access it'. Is it just me....or?

my army is of 6 players

Fishing, woodcutting, and mining are pretty much all the same. Do what you find the best scripts for and what you feel comfortable with.

Fishing : Money comes at level 30 but medium money.
Woodcutting : Money comes at level 60 but high money
Mining : Money comes in at level 15 but medium money, At 60 but high money

Mining FTW
