I came back after a year of break and I think the game is still ok. Some games like fist of guthix is fun.
GE is also great too. Allows for trading with junks.

80 was easy?! Man, when I played WoW I could barely get to level 70. It just takes way too long to level up when your about 64ish (thats what I was). I was a hunter too (one of the easiest classes to play). Too hard to level in that game. How did you level so fast? :PQuote:

They did it to stop scammers from scamming people, to many people complained about being hacked, and scammed. But you guys are right it doesn't give them the right to remove most of the enjoyment that existed in the game.

i think that runescape is not for people who want challenge, because runescape really is not skill-requiring game, unlike WoW.
If you want challenging raids and teamplay, go for wow. if you want easy and stress-free gameplay, rs is OK. If i had more money id still play wow. i used to... i had 2 lvl70, but when Burning Crusade came, wow was pretty messed up.
i miss those 40 man raids...

Back in the day when varrock was full of macros, people were mostly happy. Scammer with 1 mill, when then took off like 990k, made art. Macros, were also art lovers. You could buy gold any time, you could give few millz to your pure, who then lost them to aprons or pink's. It was wonderful time. No lagging because Rs was so simple, and you could plays it wiht 10 years old computer. Times when I was running after a member with initiates and g maul and trying to get 500gp. I miss them so much. I barely had 2k in cash, no potential in wilderness, but I had fun. When my cb lvl grew to 70, I got memb. I remeber that so clearly: first thing I did, was to buy g maul for like three times the actual price. I was so happy. When I grew out of my newbness, I got tons of cash without doing like anything because of those 12 years old players. Unluckily those times are dead. Maybe it should be time to do something else than RS. I dont really know...
I can't stand the new RS and their updates. I used to play and use scar over 2 years ago. I tried to play and couldn't believe all the ridiculus rules. I mean you can't even stake anymore? Im tired of all the little noobs crying to jagex when they lose their stuff cause they're to dumb to relize it. Any new suggestions on games?

lol i wouldnt say miniclip i have never found tht very fun try y8.com awesome website for games :) and now a days all i do is use rsbot nearly got 99 wc by botting for days good money is aswell so since rs screwed up runescape i guess i will piss them off by botting :D

I quit runescape once i got ried of it but once i came back and i saw updates i just simply coudln't stand it....
Autoing is what really makes it fun due to the fact it makes everything funner to do lol.
Also about the economy and the ge = fail
Jagex is slowly killing a once decent (not great) game. But they did what they thought was best, obviously it really wasn't, and if you use a chain scheme, you see that RWT and the such MADE them money...they have fail business ideas tbh but still its not TOO bad, but yeh its generally dying a slow death.

Its funny, even with all the people complaining all they have the guts to do is to raise the trade limit a few K. The G.E. is a good idea, only if the players could actually control the prices.
i auto every single day by useing rsbot ammazing programme and if we wall want to be rich theres many ways frist:
1. Auto say you get 1000 yews and you want to sell at GE NEVER EVER EVER EVER SELL OR LOW PRICE OR MEDIUM PRICE ALLWAYS HIGH PRICE SO THEN THE PRICES WILL BE GO UP AND YOUR RICH!!!!.
So if we want to get rich then all the iteams you botted for sell for high price trust me they wont sell in like 2 mins but sells iin 10-20 mins max :D

Runescape is still good game but pvp worlds and bh fail.
as long as people buy subscription... Runescape wont come close to dying.
its when people stop autoing or people stop producing things is when Runescape dies.
Jagex completely ruined a great game with the trade limits and how they've set values for everything.
Grand Exchange on it's own is a great idea, but it should let you set your own value for what you're selling. Runescape is obselete now that you cant rip-off all the noobies.

GE did mak eit much easier to trade, but alot harder to get more money like you used to. Especially the limit thing they put on trading with other people. That gets quite annoying most of the time.Quote:

Jagex can't just change the game... I don't understand what they were thinking. The thing that makes it unique makes you play it, and thats what made everyone play rs before.

Its okay to upgrade something! but not remove and remake something...

Yeah, the only reason I got into autoing is because it is hardly worth playing anymore. Back then WE controlled the RS economy. It was almost life like. There were the scams, the people who were legitimate, and the idiots in which we ripped off. (Yes, we scammers were great). I remember when you would fight to get into world one and scout through all the offers. It was like a mini marketplace out behind the Varrock west bank. If only Jagex didn't screw everything up.
I think Jagex can care less about what you guys think.
Limiting trade stopped almost all Real World Trading and stopping most from botting.
hey if i could kill 2 birds with one stone, i'd do it.
and the GE makes it easy to control prices.
sure it limits most people from playing but it seems to help Jagex in lots of ways.
(i still wish they would take it out soon)
Tbh, I think the GE helped me make much more money. Merchanting these days have never been easier through the Grand Exchange. Join Merchant Clan chats to get easy money by merchanting.
one prob with GE merchin is you can't scam :p
i agree with rs economy being totally jacked up. i remember the days of staking/pk'ing to make money. when they died, so did rs.
