Voted 10 - 20. I really doesn't affect your grades. As I told you on MSN, I had a girlfriend for quite a while, and I had straight - A's. It's not like you have a girlfriend to have sex or anything at that young of an age =\
But you have all your mind centered on one thing, she/he. You cannot concentrate at al :/

i'll be 14 in a month and that means i'll have been with my girl for about 8 months, and i think age has nothing to do with it it's maturity, although we've been repemanded numerous times about getting to physical :rolleyes:
i'm intrested to hear whether fawki will post here, if so will he sucumb to his dormant adolesent hormones or stick with setting a good example for his son :P
maturity is one thing, but im talking a bout how when your young, you are in school. Not concentrating on school work affects your grade (personal exp). So am asking what age should it be worth it :p and im also anxious to see what fakawi will say :P
I voted 10-20. Any age over 14-15 is sutable in my opinion though.
You should have a girlfriend after the age of 16. I say this because no one knows what love is anymore.
Actually, only a selective few should have gfs. Just so people don't bitch about thier boyfriends to me.

I started about when i was 12. I was with a chick called Kira for 11 months, then when i moved to highschool. We got seperated.
Then there was Jaden, Marina, Matrieka. Etc. ;)
Ummm i got my first gf at about 12-13. Around that age or higher i would think. I cant see how it could affect your grades. Sdcit if you want to go out with some just do it for heavens sake lol. Dont wait till college that would suck

Also, if you get a gf/bf that young, you might face the consequences later such as having to quit high school to take care of a baby, etc.
sdcit, that's only if you're not responsible. If you have problems with that, I believe you may not be responsible. From what I've heard from just talking to you, it seems you parents Control your every move.
yes, but sometimes your mind is overpowered by these things. When you have a gf/bf, your mind should be focused no him/her, or your going to have a strange relationship. Thus, sometimes you cannot think of the responsiblities that come with it. Hell, a crush already drives me nuts, i cant even imagine what a gf/bf would feel like. Im going to consult the ones with more exp -.-.

Well, I am 13, and I have a girlfriend.
We have only been together for about two weeks, and shes great!!
You just have to find the right one in my opinion.
She has the best looks in my school, she's funny, cool, nice, and smart. Also, she isn't a slut, and she isn't very high maintenence, although I enjoy hanging out with her!
It's not bad if you think about them, it's actually quite relaxing in my opinion, think about the good stuff, your life will be more relaxed, and you can just have fun.
I'm a straight A student, and it hasn't affected my grades at all...
I am going to say 16 and up, or something near there, because until you really can drive or gain mobility, its really impossible to date and if you do date before, its just awkwards and studies also show that a prime puberic mind is incapable of truly engaging in a relationship sooo around 16 is mid puberic and yea...

seriously, i had when i was 10, can't remember how long that lasted, then coz it was my first one, i was extremely hurt when it ended. So my second was when i was 12, was on and off for about 2 mnths, then it lasted th rest of the year. As we were going to different highschools, a long way away from each other, we decided to split it, since i was then going into high school, i din't look, wanted to settle in first, i had one about 3/4 the way through grade 8 for maybe 3 weeks. then i recently had 1, for about a month, i said some other girl was hot, not anything else, just that she was hot, i said it to my friend, and he told her.
she broke up with me then, thinking that i actually liked her or sumthing, and now she hates me, coz some dickhead at school told her i was paying her out, which is complete b/s. i now have 1 which has been going about a week and a half. so far, its good.

The right age is hard to say, you should get one when you feel ready. Not when you just want one to brag about it or look cool in front of your friends but when you want a gf/bf for your own reasons and don't really care what others think.
just because you have a girlfriend/boyfriend doesnt mean your doomed to have children or even stay together. you could also use protection or just not have sex if you dont think your ready for it or something
i think 14-16. i dont think it affects school as much as you think, you dont have to spend your whole time on school, you have leave some time for eating, sleeping, having a life, yes even having a girlfriend :)
