Quite frankly, I think it's gross. But I don't really have anything against them personally. They do what they do and I do what I do.

People have the right to do what they want to do and feel the way they want to feel. Even though I see it as strange, I know they can't help it. I have a really nice teacher that is gay, and he acts completely normal.

in that time, homosexuality was illegal and treated as a mental disorder, he was given a choice, life imprisonment or get inject with drugs that make you get a high voice and grow boobs,

im not gay myself, but i think that story is a good reason for standing up for gay rights
are famous gay people are Oscar Wilde and Leonardo da Vinci,
so its obvious being gay doesn't affect anything else, notably intelligence or creativity
so basically i think the same as bullzeye95 and Macrosoft

I agree with skilld. If they leave me alone/not try to convert me over to their beliefs (I am not gay), I really do not care. =]

I think people are gay for three different reasons.
1.) Sex and there own pleasure.
2.) They have add problems with the other sex.
3.) They completely find there selfs worth nothing, and the only people who will accept him or her is they're own sex. (because the environment they're in.
I'm sure there are other people who accept this person, but they ignore that without knowing it. )
I know because my cousin was a lesbian, and she ran away.
But really i don't think it's right because of these reasons.
if it's option 1, then i find that bullshit.
if it's option 2 or 3, then all they need is some consoling.
my cousin is no longer a lesbian, because she just needed help.
although she hasn't dated any guys she is no longer with any woman.
It's kind of like being extremely fat, nobody really enjoys it.
some obese people deny this, but no, they all know in there heads they would like to be skinny, but they just don't know how to feel good about them selfs.
im sorry SKy Scripter but iv got a few gay friends, probably more than most people, and not a single one of them is gay for any of the reasons you posted.
people are gay because thats they way they feel. sure some dont want to be gay and try to find some kind of way out but most are happy.
when people discover that they are gay, most of the time its because of a deep connection with a close friend not because of past trauma.
Yea SKy, i don't agree with u at all... i believe people are gay for only one reason: they enjoy being together with the same sex. I'm not gay, nor will ever be. But i think it's perfectly ok to be gay/lesbian. and the saying: "god made adam and eve, not adam and steve." is true... but times have changed and everyones different.
Well personally, I would love to walk down to StarBucks Coffee, without two girls or guys making out. It seriously makes every one in line uncomfortable. Same as most of you guys, I dont care about them as long as they do all the "unwanted stuff" privately.
I just think there is a better reason for them enjoying there own sex.
People have free will, thus it should stay free from people's opinions and criticisms. You only notice the two guys/girls making out because they aren't part of the norm for you. I'm sure there were atleast three other heterosexual couples in the room doing the same thing. Some people do become confused and put off one sex because of past experiences, but most become gay when they are attracted to members of the same sex - nothing they can do about that other than lie to them self.

well im not that religious, but our laws have been built around religion and therefore the government supported it, it has been like that since the first religions which were when writing was developed, it has always been frowned upon and i think it always will be.
Frowning on gays is like frowning on blacks. Frowning on blacks is like frowning on whites. People should learn to accept people for who they are.
As I said, Iv had some gay teachers and if they didn't tell us, I would never have noticed. They are no different from other people. Try to put yourself in their shoes. Imagine a world in which everyone was gay, and being straight was a minority. And you could make out with your girlfriend without making people uneasy. How would you feel?
It all boils down to the golden rule: "Treat others how you want to be treated"

I think there is no need to homosexuals show themselves as such. Why they have parades? That may be fun for them, but only attracts unwanted attention.
Worse than that, there is a friend of my family, he is married, straight, cool and calm. But in his work there was a annoying guy, who was openly homosexual and kept annoying him, sending flying kisses or whatever, which was very displeasing. I find this very disrespectful.

I think it is not okay and is not right. I am a Chrisitian and in the Bible it says that being gay or lesbian or bi is wrong. I don't really have anything against it as long as they don't do anything to me but that's what the bible says.
