I believe this "prediction" to be a load of bullshit, and nothing short of that.
I think some people have heard of 2012 "doomsday", and decided everything bad that can happen in a 1000-year-bracket, will happen exactly then.

I think it's crap... They keep finding a new world's end date, every time that date passes.. It's not a thing to believe in.
Well the bible codes didn't actually state that the world will end...it predicted the World will end....As we know it...

I just noticed if I set my phone's calender to the date (21-12-2012, 12:11 PM (dutch time when the 'apocalypse' begins)), it doesn't continue :eek:

Lol, I know what will cause the end of the world, it's neither of those, it is the 19th birthday of my best friend... go figure... I told him inviting the devil and god at once is going to be a bad idea, guess I should tell him again... So yeah, this supports the bible version, guess the bible knew of my friend, let's just hope that it is wrong again, and that my friend gets some sense talked into him, even though the bible being wrong is more likely... ;)
Even if 2012 is the end of existance we have little to no power over it so the best thing to do even if you do believe these theorys is to just continue on like normal, if the world doesnt end everything will still be there the next day and if it does you wont be alive to kick yourself :P
