The entire wingspan of a Boeing 757-200 commercial airliner is 124 ft. 10 in., the Interior Cabin Width however is only 11 ft. 7 in.*citation, approximating that the engines are say, 20-30 feet away from the cabin of the plane, this would make the main area of impact about 50-70 ft. wide which would fit within the 50-100+ damage area mentioned earlier.
As far as the plane having a 124 ft. wingspan, being as how The Pentagon has reinforced concrete walls, they would have been able to sustain the impact from the end wings of American Airlines Flight 77 and limited the amount of widespread damage outside the immediate crash area or the cabin and engines.
Finally, if you are asking still "Why did the roof collapse like that?", the fact that The Pentagon had been made of the reinforced concrete worked against firefighters trying to put out the fires caused by the crash, they could not break through the roof because it was just a solid layer of concrete, and therefore couldn't "battle the blaze" from multiple places, instead had to go in one position and have firefighters go inside the building but they couldn't stay in for long due to their oxygen supply running out quickly, which made the overall fighting of the fire take over a day to complete, the fires inside weakened the structures integrity which made the pillars collapse.
Another picture for comparison of a fire truck with the collapsed area of The Pentagon: here, that appears maybe 50-60 feet in length..
But then again, it could have just been a Roflcopter all along!

However I do not see enough proof to blame the government for the 9/11 attack either... the "proof" is very shady and half assed. The theorists do bring up some good points though. Enough points to get me to wonder what REALLY happened versus what was FED to us. But not enough to have me pick a side and cling to it.

you are correct that they can believe whatever they want to believe. But why are they in America if they think their own government made an attack on civilians? I want them out, that is my personal opinion (and i still have the right to think that). I don't see how that statement is unpatriotic. I want those people to leave, plain and simple. I liked america alot in the 1990-2002. But now? I dont think so. I know we dont have alot of hunger going around in the U.S, but we do have a shit load of homeless. We have alot of bankruptcies. But why is this? Because the government made everything hard with all these wars. They take a chunk of your money (taxes). Say your single and make 1m a year, there goes 35% of it. i agree...I liked how Bush handled 9/11 and it's aftermath. The original invasion of Iraq i thought was important. Many of us do not know (this is Americans and non-american's alike) that after the gulf war we set up a no-flight zone in the northern mountain regions of Iraq, where many Shiites lived. Saddam would regularly send chemical warheads into the mountains with the excuse "I no violate no-fly zooone...meesile did. I don know how eet appened". Yes, we did they think they had weapons of mass destruction, and you are correct they didn't have any. I agree that Bush is mishandled the entire situation in the middle east since late 2004-2005 and do not agree with his current standings. But i am still proud to be an American, and our ideals, even if i do not agree with our president.Quote:

a 9-11 Hoax is just improbable. The only thing 9-11 brought us to was to war with Afganistan. Yes we went to war with Iraq, but it was much later. It was not a direct result of 9-11.

The general thought that it was a missile is the most ignorant load of shit I've ever heard, even if the US government had sent a missile the pentagon would of been fucked up a lot worse than in that picture, for fucks sake the ground around the impact would of atleast been level rather than a whole that looks like it's from a fire ball smashing into the side.
Not only is his is one of the most Anti-American conspiracys I have ever come across, it is by far the most far fetched and unlikely.
