Yes, that should be correct (for both, the library and the community).

So in essence, SCAR wasn't popular until SRL came along.
Am I still correct?
So, based on what Wizzup? has stated, it would not be popular without SRL.
Well on to the topic. I think SRL will fail some day, but if many or most of us are still around before that, we'd probably predict its downfall and move on to another Java based game that SCAR(or another program similar) can auto.
New Include for different game, new site name (possible) etc.
Name change - probably, but the same people (and new ones).
/ponders Mechscape Include
SRL = |\|3\/3rd13
Lolz no. Everything dies, but we will prevail the longest. We have survived the wildy updates. If rs phails then we will find something else to macro on.
Good luck SRL!
Cut em2 it
Change is the key to survival, as long as SRL continues to change it will live until the end of time, so to further elaborate on your statement not if/ when I say not when/ changelessness.
It will fail sometimes. If Jackex hires some uber-programmer who finds a way to detect SMART, reflection dies. If Jackex finds a way to detect SCAR is running, we are not screwed, Freddy will revamp SCAR (I hope :p). Just SMART is a bit risky. And remember, new graphics came out, within a week SRL+SMART was fixed!
I agree with Wizzup?.
Right now the only noteworthy scar based community is SRL, if SRL ceased to exist then development would turn to bots like RSBot and other similar ones.
Scar is obviously needed for SRL but in the same way SRL is very important to SCAR's existence. SCAR is not merely designed for runescape, it has hundreds of functions that could be used for any type of game (a simple example, MoveMouseSmooth). Without SRL, SCAR would be a joke to detect for any game developer and if SCAR is detectable there is really no point using it.
As far as SRL dissapearing, not in the foreseeable future but with too many updates like the anti-RWT updates that runescape brought out, Runescape's popularity will wane and with it SRL.
