nose_smasher. I think we should stick to pissing.
OK time for the best Idea yet. You use ether alchohol I suggest ethanol thatl abosolutely smash them. Next would be vinegar, pour some on the roots, stem and there gonners. Or If you want to have real fun go grab some ingredients.
* Toss dry colorants onto the flames.
* Soak logs in an alcohol solution of colorants.
* Soak logs in an aqueous (water) solution of colorants and allow the logs to dry.
* Prepare pinecones, sawdust, or cork with colorants.
AND watch them burn green. Woopde do the plants are dead your room mates pissed off, tell him to get a life and stop growing queer plants in your dorm.
Problem Solved.!
Try any rubbing alcohol(peroxide), 7-UP or mouth wash.
I feel sorry for the plants :(
The "fluid" in lighters is compressed butane. As soon as it leaves the pressurized container it changes to the gaseous phase. So you cannot dilute it with water at 1 ATM, sorry :p And butane is odorless, unless they add a scent to it. Nice suggestion freezing the roots though.....might try it with liquid carbon dioxide.... :)
Hydrochloric acid. HCl. Best easily-available stealth killer. Looks like water, cheap to buy anywhere. Just run over to a hardware store.
This is the easiest way of killing a plant. Take a cap full of rubbing alcohol and poor it down the top of the plant down to the base. The Alcohol with reverse the photosynthesis and paralyze the cells of the plant. It takes about a week for you to see results so A. Super stealth. B. Kills the plant. C. You can not revive the plant it stays drunk till you change the dirt.
Good luck!
Some weedy trees and large shrubs have been cut to the ground, but I do not want to dig and cause soil erosion. I understand that it is best to apply the root killer when the plants are still active, or trying to obsorb nutrients down to the roots. Also, should I use the concentrated weed killer, or use the regular diluted one. I currently use the Round-up Brsh killer, "ready to use". I do not know yet how effective it is.

lol, thanks jennysmith, I would think that weed killers would kill them. I'm still workin on the pics....my friend has my SD card reader, and I need to get it back from him :p
Rubbing Alcohol!!!!
UPDATE!
1 plant is looking pretty sickly, possibly dying :)
1 plant does not look good, possibly on its way to dying
1 plant looks healthy still, but its the newer plant, so I have salted it less
this wont kill them but would be hella funny, feed them food dye!
to make this post legal ill say ketchup under a layer of soil
I'd just mess with your roomate and color them like josh said :p
Why not just kill the room mate instead XD? Solves your plant problem haha. On a serious note, like basically everyone said, rubbing alcohol should do it. Or you could try that tiki torch lighter fluid stuff, can't think of the name of it ATM lol. Good luck in your killings!
I agree with the salt part lol. :)

Lol. I've got another idea though. The other day I deep fried some chips that you buy frozen from the supermarket, and because I'm so lazy instead of disposing of the dirty oil properly I just went and tipped it out on the back lawn lol. Now theres a big dead patch of grass on the place where I tipped it, and my parents are angry at me lol. But anyway. Try putting a bit of olive oil over the leaves and stem, the plant will look kinda "shiny" though so its not really stealth. But yeah it works because it stops respiration as the plant cant get any C02 (due to the layer of oil), so the plant just dies. Maybe you could put a really thin layer over it, it would still work but it might not be noticeable.Quote:

Idea take out the soil of the plants and put something under them like a balloon so there is less soil in the pot thus there is less stuff to hold the water for it to absorb... The balloon is so the soil line is the same.
Have you tried the lower stem cut yet? It seems that the salt is a little slow.
thnx alot
I agree with the salt part lol. It is a great way to dry out that plant :P.
^ most funny spam ever :P, wth is thx about that?
By the way. depending on what kind of plants they are , actually it doesnt matter. I killed my moms plants with Antikal lol (thats that super corrosive stuff:P) perhaps that works as a last resort=p?
just over water then plant dies
flamethrower or stomach acid
You can cut the base of the plant and put in something like belladonna in the cut. that should mess up the plant. You could try buying a portable heater and putting the plants right next to it for an hour a day.
whoops!
I was meaning to update this...
I think I may have succeeded!!!!
He took them home for Thanksgiving break 2 weeks ago, and when I got back the they were not back!!! hoha!
I am teh victor!!!
I just used a lot of salt in hot water, with dish soap, 3 time a week, for like 3 weeks. It took awhile, and I had to slow down, since I think he was gettin wise to it...anyway... I WIN!!!!!!!
Thanks for the help guys
grats on getting rid of them!
Cast fire bolt on it :S
J/ks Cut its roots off and just have the stem left in the pot without it being to noticeable :P
just tell him to move them end off!
If this ever happens again plant a grenade in the soil, set it off and tell your friend an Iraqi terrorist broke into your house and blew it up. (not being racist)
I'm sorry to dig this, but just going through my posts and saw this...
Did you kill his plants in the end? :').
Never totally killed them, he took them away after a weekend when he went home. They were definatelly in pain though, I could see it in their....leaves. They were drooping and stuff :D
But I have moved outta the dorm room with him and live in an apartment with actual friends now (and my gf).
Haha - Nearly then :).
Ah that sounds better so I guess no plants need killing :D.
