what is the best skill?

what is the best skill on runescape and what is the worst skill?

best?...str maybe
worst?...fire making

It depends on what you want to use the skill for, personally...

Best = Fletching (due to the money factor)

Worst = Farming (due to the wait factor)

Don't know about Summoning though because I've never played it but I have heard it is by far the worst.

I would have to agreed with you, however because summoning does calc into the chars combat and isn't a 'skill' I would have to still say it is the worst stat to train... more expensive than 99 prayer o.O

least favorite would have to be Fire making
best would have to beeee....MAGIC! because without tellying IT WOULD SUCK

str by far for me but dont really count that as a skill

worst wud be - Construction (wasteing alot of money if u cant aford) <- ME :(

Best- Runecrafting, you can craft air runes all the way from 1 - 66 and get about 6 mil :p

Worst- Firemaking.. Pointless...

-Mining, because it makes pretty good money for me at my lvl (60 :))

Worst
-Farming, as it seems to be a very slow skill to gain. I have not gained a lvl in that skill so i don't know how rewarding it is money wise.

Best - woodcutting (easy money to auto :P)
Worst - Firemaking lol guise lets maek eh gaem ware we bern logsz lololol

I like smithing usefull but hard skill but i am almost over with it :D , fletch is EASY enouth.

Least Favourite: Cooking

For those who say farming is slow... you don't know how to farm (chain farming with trees etc...) and skills such as summoning are great, might be hard for lower levels but the rewards are sweet.

mining=best

For money, I would say Woodcutting atm.

yeah i like woodcutting and hate firemaking

The skill i would most like to have 99 is str.
but the best skill to have especially 99 is slayer, it just demands respect.

best- oh would have to be range..fast and cheap to train
worst-runecrafting!!!!...ahhh cant stand it its so boring and takes very long to level

I agree n the runescafting being the most boring skill ever....

But I completely disagree on range being cheap to train...the cheapest to train would have to be melee because you can us the same weapon throughout the game, when with range, you are forced to buy/make more arrows

best: mining,fishing and fletching. Because they are very easy to lvl.
worst:herblore and farming . Because they are so hard and expensive to lvl.

Mining / Woodcutting - easy to auto, and completely profitable. (As opposed to FM, Cooking where you have to spend on it and can't earn with it.)

Best: hmm, hard to tell. Maybe slayer and construction, both pretty nice skills imo :) Slayer is fun, and construction cash-waste <3
Worst: farming >.< and agility, I cbf to get it up, so I use all lamps/books/etc. at it.

i love firemaking :p dunno why best cape/skill ever, and you make friends doing it :P
worst maybe idk thieving? so repetitive (like firemaking i guess but firemaking's jus awesome ;))

i would say the best skill is-range because its cheap to buy irons and you can pown with rangers at bh or in pk so that would be the best skill

and the worst skil would have to be-str JK lol the worst would be firemaking why would we need to make fires?

i aggre with Chicken because not being able to telly to suck, like if you died and had to walk to catherby

The Only Reason I like FireMaking is because of its cool Achievment cape.

I think The best skill is fishing because its really good way of making money but its really boring.

Worst is Firemaking because its very useless.

I like ranging cause IMO it's as strong as Attack & Strength except only takes half the time, and hate farming cause it takes forever.

for best id take woodcut. but for pure joy of the game and actually skill to accomplish 99 on i would have to say slayer. how many people you see with slayer cape..? and worst by far is farming. never tried never will bother

Best SKill for money: runecrafting
Worst Skill for combat: prayer
Worst Skill for money: construction

best skill -> range

so much fun plus ranger boots and hat look amazing with range cape

worst skill -> agility

sucks to train...

The best skill is definitely woodcutting because it is extremely simple and very easy to auto at. ;)
The worst skill is construction cause it costs loads of money to get it to 99 and it doesn't really have that many good uses. :(
