Er, no. In the more recent one McAfee came in 15th out of 16th. However, Kapersky ranked 6th, and Norton ranked 3rd.

Also, the reason Firefox forces you to save first is so your AV can check it (mainly for the ones that scan files as they get accessed). It also takes a second or so to scan it (not sure if that's its own scanner or trying to call your own scanner).

But yeah, around twice a year I download the newest Kaspersky trial and run a full scan, that keeps me clean :D

I agree on this. I tried and tried to get a script to work properly and followed all the guides really carefully (I'm new to SCAR) and couldn't figure out what the problem was. I just tried Firefox to load RS and everything was fine, YAY! :spot:

Just change your Windows Updates settings to "Download, but let me choose when to install"; then when you can has updates, the tray icon will balloon() to you to install them. If you're busy, you can simply close it.

There's nothing worse than IE's downloading with the retarded window popping up and on closing cancels your download.. Plus it's slow, vulnerable to everything (like 90% of people use it and most are completely un-aware of the amount of suck involved in using it, so I wonder why hackers like to target IE, of course FF being open-source may be another reason too)..

It's a well known fact that when it comes to webbrowsers IE is pretty much the mentally (and physically) retarded thing that no-one likes.. Except the people un-aware of the better options.
