I am interested in buying a new laptop; anyone got any suggestions on a good, fast, and cheap one? I would love a MacBook, but unfortunately it is not a good price for me ;) Any suggestions?..

I just got this one - http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Toshi...oductDetail.do
I love it (Awesome processor, good RAM, OK HDD), but the GFX card bites (Along with just 2 USB ports, even though it says 3), so if you want to game with it it might not be a great choice.
EDIT: It's also a 13.3 inch and really light ;)
EDIT2: The first one Buckley posted seems really nice too, maybe a bit big.
Mhm Buckley, the Acer looks nice, but very bulky, and it is still kind of "meh" with the price :/ And good <500 dollar laptops?
Hy71194, I just bought a really good deal laptop, an amazing deal i think. Its an acer. It was 400 dollars.
Dont rush out and buy any laptop thats cheap. Check out slickdeals.net every day and they have really good deals on laptops every now and then. Go to bestbuy.com laptops- internet and email. And its the 399.99 one.. Should be the first one is what i have, and i love it.
They dont make laptops with that any more, do they? I thought all that available (New ones) had the pad.
I like the little mouse nipple :( It is a lot more quick and accurate than the pad in my opinion :( I found this lappy though, looks like a nice deal?.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834115543 No nipple mouse though :(

The biggest problem (from my point of view) is that you are buying a LAPTOP... go out there and buy a desktop. They are a lot harder to brake on accident, they are more reliable, better price for better equipment, and they last longer. ^^ If you aren't convinced then... well... well, then you are just a hopeless case from my point of view xP
Wtf is the "nipple" you are all talking about? I honestly don't know (not a fan of laptops)

That's it, [-jesus-], the little red thing.
If you hurry and nag before it's (holiday season) over get ALIENWARE lol..then again prbly out of ur pricerange, but they offer fair (in my opinion) financial aid, so if u got a job, which im assuming you do, you could pay it off.. before you get interest...
