Need help with appeals?

Hello, I am thedetro125.

I currently and pastly have great experience with appealing bans, mutes, and generally all offenses. I would like the help the SRL community by offering advice to those who have gotten an offense on their account. I will check this thread at least every 3 days, but most of the time every day. All you need to do is post the evidence, and what rule it broke. If you want to blurt out your runescape username so that I can't see it, feel free, but make sure I know which lines you said.

I knew a moderator, and he was very into the appealing offenses part of the website, and taught me a lot. I can offer suggestions, and there is a good chance that it will be successful, but not 100%, I cant guarantee that. Anyway it is probably a good idea to get advice before submitting an appeal anyway, yes? If you agree, post some offenses! I would love to help!

Rule 7 they don't post evidence, so the best thing to do is to apologize and deal with the punishment they gave you! Still have never seen one accepted for autoing unless you tell them you weren't in control and ACTUALLY were not, they will check IP's and unban/unpunish you

So you're saying it's possible to safely auto on your main through a proxy, if you then claim to have had your account stolen? What will they do with the money/materials/skills gained from the autoing?

They dont touch your account, they simply return the account to you even if you do auto, but no im not saying play through a proxy. I'm saying that if you do get banned for breaking rule 7, the best thing to do is to apologize, unless you actually DID get hacked, in which case you say your account was stolen

i'm currently banned for 9 days.... 5 days left to go... this is for real world item trading.... i purchased 20m from a site... and 3 weeks later i'm banned.... i bought a santa with the cash.... i was wondering when i do get unbanned will they have taken my santa?

just outa intrest how did they give you that much money with the trade limit?

They power-level it on your account usually, having done this myself a few times =P


No, they do NOT touch your items/cash even if they were purchased on a website. Did you appeal it? is there evidence? How many black marks did you get for it?

theyre was no evidence... just said they have reason to believe and that there records show them or sumat. and funnily enough i got no black marks... i had 32 black marks at one point.... and was perm muted.... i sent them a message through the report glitches thing seing as i couldnt appeal as it was rejected... all i said is im thinking of quitting memebrs and loadsa apolegetic shit... and that i had adhd and shit... and rs is all i have and that i cant play any longer been perm muted... guess what they locked my acct for 3 days.. and when i logged in i was in muted and had no black marks... fuckng weird uh? funny thing is i don't even know why they let me get away without permo with 30 black marks... and now i have none... i have 8 offenses and no black marks... i think my account has immunity =/

This is the strangest thing I've ever seen. Last chance appeal and no black marks? Best thing to do is just try not to get any more offenses on your account. They shouldn't've touched any of your items though, so don't sweat it too much.

Proxies dont work, runescape uses java -_-. if you dont belive me, find a proxy site, and log into to runescape on it. It will say what ip you logged in from last (wich should be your normal ip) then just log out and log back in, and it will say "the ip you logged in from ealier is:" and its the same ip =(

I think i straightened it out :) although i've never gotten a proxy to work even that far... you cant load java through a proxy.

Are you member? Have you even been a member?

IF yes to either of those questions it is LIKELY that the first few times you will only get .5 black marks, and a 10 day ban. (PROBABLY) I was a member for a month years ago, since, I have had 3 temp bans for macroing.

IF no to both questions, VERY likely you will get perm banned for your first offense.

Just got a 10 day ban for autoing, I'm going to try to appeal on my girlfriend's laptop saying I wasn't in control and see if they'll let me change the password. (I have played on her laptop before)

This seems like a hub of people with expertise in the banning area so;

How many 10 day bans can you get (from autoing) Before you get perm banned?

Also if I ever need to appeal then I DEFINITELY will come here.

It's subject to controversy, but once you hit 10 black marks you EITHER get: perm ban, or: perm mute. The first time you break rule 7, if you are non member, you could get a perm ban, OR get a 10 day ban and .5 black marks. If you ARE a member, you MOST LIKELY will get .5 black marks and a 10 day ban. Only one occasion one of my friends got perm ban for autoing but only because he had other offenses prior, and then, 9 black marks. Lucky him his last chance appeal was accepted.

I can't do much for breaking rule 7, but having received numerous offenses in breaking almost every other rule, i can generally help, but not guarantee anything.

You are already marked, so essentially it isn't safe ever again for that account... but I always keep autoing even after temporary ban.

no... i meant that they watch your account closer after you get banned once.

1st appeal Phailed... So for Last Chance I was thinkin sob story... No friends, Parents mean, ADHD, Depression, the whole nine yards... It's been 6 days, I was gonna wait till 11 days past... good plan?

wow guys wait for the pro to act- yes just let it coast, you cant do anything. apologizing is the best thing to do, unless you have the whole ip scam planned out, but obviously you dont, so just apologize. not much i can do for a violation of rule 7, sorry.

should bot+proxy work for long? so by example if i bot on proxy for 2 months then get detected and put proxxy of and say i got hacked? or is 2 months just to long?

im non membs on my pker.. i was woodcutting, got to 72, today i got perm banned>.< i've sent an appeal that my account was stoled, it worked for me last time so im hoping it will this time too

if you play on two computers then you can do an ip scam as long as they have different ip addresses, if you get banned from one, then you appeal from the other, see? theres more info on this in other threads, use the search button.

for the last chance appeal i said that i was sorry and would never again break rules. its very hard to get a rule 7 accepted unless you do the IP scam. i dont know if your pure will get unlocked or not, that really depends on jagex, not what you wrote, but chances are slim and most likely you will keep the perm ban since your account was never member (or was it at one time?)

edit: they dont accept appeals with threats of quitting members, they are just more lenient on members that break rule 7

say you're sorry and will never again break their rules, ask for one last chance to redeem yourself (got this on my 115, it had over 20 offenses for breaking a lot of rules mostly rule 1, and it was accepted). It is not likely that it will get unbanned though, since it isnt a member and never has been.

I will try that in one of my appeals- i set an auto banner to test appeals after the level 3 gets banned. It might work, you never know- sorry for the double post, i didnt know how to multi-quote until now :)
