This has bothered me for the entire day so I need to share it to get it off my shoulders...
I've had the strangest dream this morning. I can't remember the details but I will describe what I recalled.
I remember waking in a dungeon of all places. The place was dark and it was built of stone much like those dungeons you see in medieval times. I wasn't tied up or anything, just waking up from the ground like I have been asleep. The dream cuts off there and skips to another "scene".
Wondering around, I freed a prisoner near the area I was held captive. The old man told me that there was also a young woman held captive in the same dungeon. Without another word I darted out of the area with only one thing in mind: Saving that woman.
The dream then cuts again. I saw a gigantic hole in the wall as if it was made by a beast or a cannonball. It was big enough for a person to walk through. For some reason, I felt that all hope was lost. (Its the best way that I can put it) I lost consciousness and fell threw the hole in the wall. I felt despaired and failure to save the young woman as I was falling. But just then, I saw her alive and well upon my fall, standing elegantly on a "balcony-like" platform. It felt as though time itself slowed down to show me this. She definitely had long hair and wore a white gown or dress that seemed to sway in the wind.
The dream cuts again and I stood right in front of her this time. I remember smiling and saying to her "I saved you". I was really glad to see her. She then just looked at me and walked past me as if I was a stranger to her. She acted as though I never said anything to her. I can remember myself saying "but I saved you" over and over again each time quieter than the first.
I then awoke from it all.
NOTE: During the dream, I couldn't make out the faces of the old prisoner nor the young woman. It can also be noted that I, myself didn't know this person yet I acted as if I have known her for quite a while.
Any thoughts or interpretations of this weird dream is welcomed.
