cs:s doesn't need that much shit, if you can run 1.6, you can run source.. (unless your computer can barly play 1.6)

6) Tweaks? Well if you google ways to increase FPS or look on FPSBanana.com for stuff, thats what I do. Take quality down, HDR off, Bloom off, make it so the chambers to show animation, stuff like that. My frames are easily 200+ then.

I prefer 1.6. In 1.6 its more about aiming and knowing how to spray and wall spots, but in source its more about knowledge of the map and knowing where to be when, and when to rotate.Quote:

Well its up to you which game to play. I prefer cs1.6 and source is pretty different from 1.6.

Most people just don't want to deviate from 1.6 because its what their used to. Aiming is no different. If you can show me logical and coding proof that hitboxes are different, then show me. About aiming at walls, thats just no skill...No one just points a gun at a wall and prefires and hopes a kill.
Do the website I gave you for Half Life 2 and Half Life.
CS 1.6 is a Half Life game and CS:S is a Half Life 2 game.
Those will give you an accurate measurement.

Its not about the hitboxes (although they are bigger because the models are also bigger), and just so you know, I played source before I played 1.6. Of course aiming is no different, but the spray patterns are. And yeah, no one points a gun at a wall and hopes for a kill. Who is talking about that? I have no idea about you, but I play with headphones and after playing for a while I can get pretty good ideas on where players are, I just have to improve on what angles to shoot at. And if you think it takes no skill to aim through the wall...Quote:

1.6 is junk(It may have been good in 2000, but not that good now..). I played it for a few years before getting Source back in December '07. Much better all around..
