no that not the only reason i am donating. Of course i want SRL to stay up. But i will probably be making a larger donation soon.

If there is a reward for doing something, it makes you want to do that something. Getting the cup is a reward for donating, so you donate to get the reward.

Just because is sounds great to say "I didn't do it for the reward" doesn't make it better than doing it for the reward. SRL still gets money even someone donated for the sole reason of getting the cup. Why does it matter to you what anyone else has for motives?

I think it was a better system when it just said "Site Supporter" instead of being a cup.
When people have cups it (theoretically) earns them respect. This could easily be seen as paying for respect/rank?
My Opinion anyways.
I think thats better though, so SRL gets more money to pay for hosting, so it benefits all of us.
And people won't respect them if loads of people buy there way in.
