My 2k. For the second time.
Well guys. It's this time (again).
I was at 2k before, but the constant trimming of posts made me go below 2k when I was inactive all year. I guess I should think of a story or something.
It's been more than 2 years since I first joined in February of 2007. Even though I joined then, I never really posted much until a few months later. I remember my first script, it was the nubbiest ever. It bought arrows in the store in Varrock. It was based off some guy's feather buyer for another store. I believe his name was RS Cheater or something. I remember getting lots of help from everyone, even though I was a noob and didn't understand anything. I remember JAD and Yohojo (Where is he?) and a few others had helped me, I was so happy to have a response to my script, even if it didn't really work. After my experience with this buyer, I decided to make another script that I thought was good. A chicken killer. Playing off of the success of Tara's Chicken Killer, I set out on a mission to make one half as good as his. Although I failed, it was just another stepping stone to help me get towards SRL Members. (Script is located here - Uhh.. No link. Uploaded I guess).
It seems the links are gone, but I will just upload them. Anyway. After that, I spent a ton of time working on my Willow buyer, which walked through the Lumbridge forest area, and took so much effort to make it walk right. I actually had some feedback to this script, one of my only scripts that got any recognition. This one will be uploaded as well, seeing as for some reason, both of those threads have been trimmed.
After this, I applied for members. For all SRL members, here is the link to my application. http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10733. For those of you who can't see, I got in 17-2. Looking back on it, my name should still be green. I had approximately 600 posts, which was a lot at the time, if I remember correctly. I went through a phase where I thought that becoming a member all of a sudden made me amazing. Then I went through another phase where I had some troubles at home, and became inactive again. This was all about a year or more ago still.
Then last summer I made it back on, and started a script, and made quite a few more good friends, many of whom have left already. I made 3Garrett3's VEOC - Included in post. This was my first script that was actually slightly advanced, and it took my 3 months of work to make. SirLaughsAlot released it for me, because I had planned on leaving soon. I think one person tested it. All of that work, to waste again. To be honest, this discouraged me from even working on any other scripts. This was the script that I made to prove to myself and everyone else that I was worthy for members. It was also during the time that I was committed to moving up in the ranks through SRL (It didn't work, obviously). After not recieving any feedback on my script, and not being congratulated by anyone, I went through a "Fuck off, SRL" stage, where I will admit that I pretty much hated the upper administration and all the members for not giving a shit about me. I leaked a couple member scripts to close friends of mine, who were not even members at the forums, and gave Jr. Member scripts to someone when they were banned from the forums. Once again, I know this was wrong, but obviously nothing bad came from it, and if someone wishes to punish me for my actions a year ago, they can. (It was in September of 08). I was also aware of the hacking of a couple members of the SRL member status, and the hacking of one or more SSRL members (http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27792 for a guide to what SSRL means.) and also a mod, I believe The Claw maybe?
Recently, I came back to the forums, I actually give a shit, I want to make friends. Seems most people forgot about me, but I'm back and have been back for a while.
