It's not like you just take a drug and are immediately addicted, even with heroin and stuff. Addiction is usually a long process, starts off taking it once and people like it so much they take it again. Eventually they're taking it more and more often, eg "just on the weekends" and before long its a psychological addiction. That leads to physical addiction.
Personally, weed is my favourite drug as its consistent and makes everything better. I am favourable to psychadelics, but have only ever been able to get lsd once - was good fun lol.
