First Signature!

Hi guys,
this is my first ever try at a GFX signature.

Ugly render as fuck.

Too bright on the upper right side.

Text does ABSOLUTELY not match.

Needs a border :

Adding a border :

Create a new layer and press "D". Then press : CTRL + A. Go into edit > stroke.

And use the settings as :

Foreground color 2 px, inside.

You should have a nice border by then...

Rating :

7/10... NO ! 3.5/10 for the unbalanced render, but yet 5/10 since its your first :).

Don't take criticism too seriously.

Alot of people here are really full of themselves and it would seem they get off on telling people they're no good at something.

The render looks really bad with the sig. Try a few tutorials

No, I don't want you to lie, but yes, you should have said why otherwise it is not even worth posting "no". I know you don't mean it in a harsh way, but 'The Man' is a new member and he may not.

I have nothing against anybody or anything, I just don't want people to get discouraged from what they are doing.

The Man: It is not that bad, is this your first signature or your first try at photoshop? (no offence! But if this is your first try at photoshop then I'd say its a great piece of work ;))
I do not like the small bright "orbs" that are white and green-ish.. they do not fit in with the color of your chosen render, and try to not to crop the render as much as you have done here, it makes it look a bit ugly :P

It is my first try at photoshop. And Penguin I did get that render from Planet Renders.

I followed an online tutorial with the same render and effects as him and I think this one came out quite well.

You still have the .psd ? Save as .png, shit quality on that one seriously.

As long as I can't see whats done really I'll give it a 2.

Ah, Im not being funny here but The Man, you started out alot better than that of what Dervish did, so you know mate, keep up the work.

Atleast I can see you trying to experiment about with lots of different things. Keep up the work and you will learn more and more anyway.

8/10 is way overrated even for first one IMO.
I don't rate sigs by first, second, or heck: tenth! I rate them in general.
This is a 2/10 at its highest.
