[6-11-09] Macro Detection systems update

If your smart, then you know this statement means nothing at all, it just means that runescape are scared, and are getting beaten up by bots, if they DO have made a new macro system, you would do like they did in the old rsc... Just make it puplic "today we have banned 10k accounts, bla bla bla" you don´t tell the cheaters you have them right on the scope, they just jump away and hide. you shoot em first :P so take this as nothing else but jagex trying to manipulate with the cheaters (and most of them are stupid enoughe to fall for it) propaganda

I agree, there's no way to fully detect ALLLLLLL of these autoers... There's nothing that gives us away, we're not manipulating the client or anything.. I also believe it's a scare tactic

i dont believe they will catch us
with reflection and colour scripts can be near enough human like which will be impossible to detect
thus i doubt that aslong as you use good scripts you will get banned

Ok so some of you might be interested in this...

I have (had) an Autoer Army of about 20ish characters. 4 of those 20 I use SCAR on, I use one script and use 4 players so 6 hours a day on each character approximately. The other 16 I just used RSBot on. None of them were left on 24/7, and I always used Anti-Ban. None of them were level 3 in default clothes. None of them were training ONLY 1 skill all the time.

So out of those 20, 16 of them just got banned. Guess which ones? None of the accounts I use SCAR on have been banned.

So yeah, I guess Jagex has cracked down on Java Bots that are extremely detectable. As for SCAR... well... it still lives on :)

They can only ban you if they are certain that you auto, only way to make sure you actully do auto is to look inside your computer.
^Long story short: There always be a 1 out of a million chance ect...
Also, they claim to have test our dear Scar?, Hope they got the latest version.

I say their faking, like always. But you never know.

I know I won't be using RSBot anymore.

Exactly, that's the only way they could have "strengthened" their detection system, is by improving the detection of modifying the client.... I think we're totally safe =D, I'm going to resume botting now.

personally im not worried about it, scar is pretty fairbut then again if you abuse it sure youll get banned, but with rs bot too if u abuse youll get banned.. theyres no real way to know if we know they know were autoing or not. im sure they've seen our fourms and rsbot fourms but honestly if they really wanted to take action they woulda did it along time ago... just trying to scare us off....

Well not totally, RSBot HAS been getting smashed heavily, so they're not just talkin shit.

Why are they saying this? Its because a shit load of legit players are switching to rsbot. That recent update they did was to fuck up rsbot, which btw failed.

As long as they keep letting us have access to there client, and cache... theres no stopping us.

Its just something to make all legit players whom are switching to botting think. IF you get banned, well GF you lost.

A mass ban doesn't mean updated detection rules. Jagex does this all the time - it isn't like they caught 12,000 or whatever accounts in one day or even a week, it just means they slacked off on the banning for a little while and then do it all at once.

Not mass. Ive seen worse with Aryan and AutoRune.

They just caught people running rsbot/ibot while it was bugged completely.

Honestly, do you guys even bother to read the article posted on Runescape.com? It clearly stated that they were gathering a list of botters and will ban them soon, not now, however.

I, for one, just hope that i don't get banned as-well since i have only macroed for 2 days (first time in a while) under one hour, just to get some coal with me watching SMART most of the time and have been responding to any phrases mentioned.

lol, I don't care at all. Main reason I do anything with runescape is scripting/scar/srl. On top of that, I've never once gotten banned for macroing. imo they are just trying to scare us.

It's time to make Scar Private forums now.
