well, There 's gotta be a reason why chrome is so fast ;)...
No a big deal imo, It just spams the site In Rocket Speed to the user, that takes quite some memory, i'd say..
I Like Google Chrome xD.. Though firefox has some pretty nice plugins which i miss with chrome.
:)
It's cool.
When you got 4gb of ram, you will not notice Chrome hogging it.
:).
I agree with what Buckley said.. (btw, hi :D It's Pwnt by Pwnt) I don't see why this is a problem at all..
@99_ because it uses so much memory...
~shut
But what if SOMEHOW you have a lot of memory.. >.>
Why should you need to use an application that eats your memory, regardless of how much you have free?
WAT... WAT... WAT IN DA BUT...!!!
My pc Probably would die... FireFox FTW :).
Hello :).
That's like saying, ppl buying those F-350 heavy duty trucks is unecessary.
They eat alot of gas, but they tow whatever they need to get towed/done fast instead of struggling alone with a F-150 road truck.
Same with Chrome, It may use alot of resources, but it gets the job done fast.
Haha, that was along time ago :).
Heh, but still .. :/
Firefox loads and preforms quicker, no matter what speed your computer is.Quote:

Chrome starts and runs faster on every computer I've used.
Chrome starts like a 150kb program even though it's way more.
Firefox starts like my Microsoft office.
That's being said about what I experienced on my old PC^^^^
Even on my new pc, Chrome starts as soon as I finish clicking it, while FireFox chugs my HDD for a half a second to one.
Firefox has an extremely slow cold start. But I must say the memory usage is quite nice.
Start up times are often deceiving, since for example Konqueror runs in the back ground as soon as you start KDE, so you will never experience it's 'cold start'. (Same for IE, most likely.)
Is funny, I saw this same thing earlier today. Chrome's problem is splitting the tabs into processes. Normally one tab by itself wouldnt take as much memory, but since it has its own, it needs to load everything with it.
If you use the firefox preloader, then it has a very nice cold start since it will have the same advantage of IE. But as for chrome, it has none of the features of firefox that i like. Its only thing that i use it for [was] private mode, but since im running 3.5, i i need chrome even less. If chrome will never have real extensions if it wants to stay liked, since that's really the only reason its so fast; it has no real extra features to speak of. (and the design is horrible).
The reason I love Google is because it's so simple. Just like other Google products. If you don't like simplicity, then FF is probably the best for you.
By simple I mean "Google". >.> you're close though. Rep for effort ;D
Why complain about chrome just use what ever you like best.
>.> Thought you were going to bed.. D:
