SCAR 3.21 Alpha

I've set up my pre-release repository for SCAR, I'll be putting pre-release versions up in there from now on rather than releasing them like I did before. This will allow for a smoother transition between pre-release versions and such as I can easily update it. Also bugs can be identified more accurate, version wise as more versions can be identified by revision now.

Note that I fixed rs_GetUpChars already, so for all 3.20 users, it'd be best to use this current release. It's also a bit more Vista friendly, I've written a new window selector.

The window selector doesn't draw right when targeting on-top windows. Are you creating a new, transparent window and drawing on that?

<3. The window selector was being very gay before (I have Vista). Now it is really fast :D.

should I just take the new Scar.exe and save it over Scar 3.20? and then move all the folders, like fonts and everything into the Scar folder to replace the old ones? If that's not what I'm supposed to do please explain.

EDIT: Da 0wner, same here, I hated how slow it'd go, it was very slow and jumpy when it'd select the window, and on XP it was fast and smooth.

I had to do that because I use Windows 7 as development OS now, which has the same problem there as Vista, this was a good motivation to do it properly for a change, I've tried to do this before, but I never really got it done perfectly, always some crap messing it up. So expect the final 3.21 to be way more Vista/7 friendly :)

You'll only need the new scar.exe, the rest aside from the changelog is the same atm

ok so just copy the Scar.exe from where I did the SVN update to and save it where my old Scar.exe is?

Please add a function for changing the clients title? Like you do in SCAR's file menu: "Client -> Change Client Title..."

Woah that's cool, I knew you could change Scar's Title, but I never knew you could do it with the client it has activated. Was there a function to do this in 3.20 or 3.15B? I think that'd be a really cool function so you could change client title's while the script's running.

No, there was not a function like that in previous versions :p
Yeah, I know it's awesome :D I use it for changing the DebugImgWindow when making games (like the game's name is "Freddy0wnzor" then it's better to have "Freddy0wnzor" as title instead of "Debug Image" xD)

Really loving the new Crosshair! :p

But, do you think you could make it possible to let user change the color of it? (Like, the current Red (255?) to Blue (16711680)) Maybe a new section to options, to configure what it looks like (thickness, color)? That would be really nice.

yea... or if your mixster and watching your porn and afraid your mom's going to walk in, and see the bar at the bottom and porn in the name, you can activate the window and change it to Runescape lol :p jk. I hope mixster sees this.

But yea, I'd use it when I auto, like I like to change scar to how many loads I've done and if I'm like fishing, how many spots in the inventory have fish, but sometimes it's too big, so I could change scar to the inventory amount and then the client window to how many fish are in the inventory, split it up.

and besides, it's his work, let him do it how he wants, if he doesn't want help so be it. I know not every scripter just lets anyone join in on helping them with their script. But when do you think you'll be able to get your chars done?
