How to install/setup Simba for RS3

Few questions...

1, how do I get Simba to run the 07 Runescape? & My SPS never finishes updating? Does it matter?

Hi , please how do i , or where can i download SRL OSR to put in my Simba/includes folder so my scripts can start working i have absolutely everything else installed and working exept this , I had it on my other computer and i botted there thanks alot but i can't seem to find it now

http://wizzup.org/simba/ when im on that website and try to download there is nothing highlighted for me to click.

I'm having trouble instelling/downloading.

First of all I installed the installer, I then did the quick-setup guide. I moved the documents 'P07Include" to the include folder within the Simba file.
I also moved the font to the font folder.

What am i supposed to do now? I just don't get it. Kinda new to the botting world.

Also note that this is for 2007 botting.

Please help.

Did all steps at the video but then I had to run MSI but it says it says; MSI development has temporarily been closed.

I've done everything correctly and old school rs opens up in a separate screen and atempts to log in just like in the video tutorials but now how do I set up a bot?

The link to the installer is on that page. The word "installer" is highlighted under the Windows heading.

I was unsure wear to post this, but I'm not sure if it's Simba related, if I missed something while setting up, but I'm trying to run the AIO Powerminer script and it works... sporadically. As close as I can describe it, there's an issue with the script identifying the SMART window, and so it doesn't type in the login details it just sits there. But if I click in the screen, and log in to the in-game lobby, then the script starts running, so it clicks on where the 'username' text box would be, (presumably) attempts to type my username, clicks where the 'password' text box would be, (again, probably) tries to type my password, and then repeatedly clicks on where the Login button would be, but instead just clicks on the 'become a member' part of the lobby and opens up webpages over and over again.
Like I said earlier, I have no idea whether the issue is communication from Simba to the SMART window or what, but any ideas would be welcomed.

And sometimes (rarely), it all works fine.

Ok, I apologize, I'm a noob, I figured it out.

Is there a place with tutorials, maybe videos, on learning to script?

It wasn't a warning, it was a "de-rep". "Thanks anyways, einstein" is usually used as a type of mockery when someone says something that may seem obvious. If that's not how you intended it, then I apologize.

... sadly, I can't. One thing that isn't apparently obvious at first is that clicking the 'Disable SMART' button allows the user mouse control inside of the SMART window. But after I've logged in, everything runs smoothly when SMART is re-enabled. Sorry :P

Hello, new user here.

I'm having trouble installing Simba or the MSI stuff rather. After I've copied and pasted the code into Simba to start up this "SMART" program, I'm getting the following error: "The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try re-installing the program to fix the problem"

Now before I'm told to read the forums for the answer, I've tried doing so. Apparently I don't have the privileges to look at the thread. I've as well re-installed Simba three times.

I've gone through the text version of the guide and gone through the video twice as well. I'm doing everything correctly.

Either help on accessing the forums would be helpful or a direct answer would be quite helpful as well.

So basically I got everything working while using a combat script, however when I minimize the bot it seems to back pop up every now and then which is kind of annoying when you're doing other things. Is there a way to prevent this?

I haven't heard of this happening before, but it may be caused by the RS client "refreshing", in which case there isn't much you can do unless something is changed inside SMART. I do not know for sure, though.

That's something to do with the newer versions of java, I believe if you install j6u32 (i think) you won't have smart wanting focus every second :p

Another question I'm not seeing an answer for;

I can not seem to update to 991 or 992 (Whatever is the latest version) it says i'm up-to-date and the basic script given in the tut is giving me that 656:5 error. It seems all my problems lead to someone saying updating Simba to the current version, but it doesn't look like i'm having luck with that.

Question: Can I dl and use simba on Mac OS via Wine or do I need to use a linux sandbox to run wine+ simba?

I'm using the linux thing to run on my mac and the SMART loads, but I can't open it. Like it's a tiny unclickable box you can't see or do anything with it but it says everything has been a success. Anyone Help?

You should be able to use Wine natively on Mac OS.

If by "Linux thing" you mean a Linux Sandbox, then you shouldn't need one. Like I said above, you should be able to run Wine natively on Mac OS.

That's what I did. When SMART opens it has this really tiny box that you can't click anything on it. I can screen shot it.
