Can anyone help me fix this ... I just put Simba and SRL on my laptop. I have JRE 8 and JDK 8.

Does SMART load? If so, you likely need to set your graphics settings.
That means it's not finding the mouseover text it's looking for, which is likely a script issue. You should post on the thread from which you downloaded the script.
You may have to install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of JRE. If you do, make sure it's installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\".
Thanks Coh3n it worked
hey guys, I used to be a member here back a long time ago but have since quit and lost account information and whatnot, but I'm trying to get back into it a bit.
I have been trying to run different scripts and have checked out several different tutorials as well as troubleshooting threads but can't solve my issue.
I can't find anything wrong with my player setup, so this error really confuses me. I feel like its something stupid I'm missing.
It's simply this:
Quote:
---- WARNING: Unknown login string: ""
---- HINT: Please report this issue in the SRL bugs section of the forum
------ Saving screenshot: unknown_login_count.png
---- Login response: One minute as passed...
------ All players inactive...

-- Freeing gametabs bitmaps...

Sorry, I know it's stupid guys.. but I can't seem to fix it.
Hey guys, I'm using simba via wine because i'm using a macbook pro. The issue i'm facing is that simba does not recognise that the client has loaded when it already has. Graphic settings are set as instructed i.e Min, fixed and on OpenGL. The photos shown are proof.

Does anyone have any solution to this problem? I appreciate all the help i can get. Thanks in advance.

I keep getting this error when attempting to run the script in the "How to install/setup Simba" section:
I've followed the tutorial exactly up to that point. Any idea what the problem is?Code:Exception in Script: File "srl-6/srl.simba" not found at line 3, column 5
Got it working now, thanks for the help! ;)
I've been trying to get SMART to work with no luck! The client loads, but I'm not logged in automatically and the script failsafe times out. I have gone through the graphics/interface setup about 5 times by now, but still nothing works. What's odd is that the SMART client screen seems to flicker between a load and the login screen and won't stop unless I click the "disable graphics" button. My graphics card is up to date. Here are a few screens of what I mean.

Just keep the disable graphics button clicked, mine did the same thing. As for not logging in, that could be a script error, but if you posted some debug text of when it happens that would help.
Found a fix for this! Turns out I was using scripts that specifically needed DirectX. Also, I stumbled across Brandon's DX and OpenGL plugins which seem to have solved the rest of the issues. Everything works great!
when i start smart i log in and then start the script and it says waiting for RS to load and it never does... what am i doing wrong? i am using div script by football
Thanks.
I can't get Simba to work for the life of me. I've tried almost everything, if someone could skype me and help me i'd appreciate it my skype is jiggaatheist
Thanks for the guide.
The only thing I could suggest is the package coming with d3d9.dll in the Plugins folder as quite a few scripts available on the public section of the website require this. Should also point out that I believe there may be different versions (One for x86/x64 respectively) as the first one I tried did not work at all.
Other than that, flawless software - Thank you.
As far as I know, d3d9.dll is in the standard plugin package (or will be soon). @Olly; will know more about this.
Nice to know that you're all on the ball when it comes to this.
My symptoms however, were flickering in the SMART client, and of course "Failed to load d3d9.dll" in the console.
Should anyone else have that issue chances are they just need to throw the .dll into the Plugins folder. Easily found with a quick Google search or in their DirectX System folder.
The player manager fails to show the accounts I've added, but the scripts allow me to select them what's wrong?
Hello guys, so i only recently found out about this "bot" and i wanted to know how safe is it?
i got banned for 24 hours a few months ago for using powerbot, all skills cut down a bit, the usual drill...
I was wondering if there are any bans recorded for running this bot? is it safe for me to bot now? is this mac compatible?
Thanks!
Simba will always have the lowest ban rate out of all runescape bots.

It's not directly compatible with a Mac, but it is possible with some third party applications. There's a guide here.

Anyone help?
Hi Folks,
Its been a LONG time since I have botted and I am running into issues I havent seen before. I have tried a clean re-install of SIMBA but am having the same issues. I have running AIO-DIV script which used to work for me but now when I start the script the login screen flickers really fast and nothing happens. I am also running into an issue where when I click the "Fixed" screen mode I get an error that says "Runescape was unable to enter that display mode" which is probably whats causing problems. The flickering stops when I click "Hide Graphics" not sure if thats important. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
DN
- nevermind the RuneScape Jar that wasn't available caused this.
First time ever using Simba. Thanks for the easy to use and comprehensive guide. The only problem I had was I was unable to set my RS to fixed, unsure why.
make a video guide?
Someone else is welcome to, but I won't be.
Setup instructions can change and as a result a new video needs to be made. It's much easier to update a thread than create a new video. If there is something in the guide that is unclear, or if there's an issue you had that you resolved, post it here and I will add it to the guide.
