On Step: Set screen-sizing to Fixed.
The client says "RuneScape was unable to enter that display mode. Please visit our website for more information. Continue"
Then if I hit openGL for the next step, the program terminates. I followed the steps exactly up to that point, what should I do?
unistall and deleted everything. the flashes went away! but it still doesnt do anything at the log in screen! it told me to use Direct X! this script is what im using https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=109305.i downloaded the necessarily plug ins.
Nope, RS just said it was unable to go fixed screen. I still managed to get a layout where a script would work for me. Not really sure what is different from mine to fixed though.Quote:

Btw its updated i downloaded the direct x plug in. Extensions SRL and SPS.

I think it has something to do with rafiki player manager. I click the green button, enter correct details, click save. When i click save player list. It closes. When i open it again on srl, theres nothing in it. Am i doing something wrong? I've read something about this problem on another thread. They say theres a fix on github? How do i apply it to simba?
Ok i didn't even check other simba folders for my saved player manager list. But still theres this crash sometimes, i can press X and nothing happens. It's just annoying. Is there a fix for that?
ALSO, why do i have to update extensions upater srl and sps every time i launch simba?

I have tried everyone in past 8 hours. Just cannot get SIMBA to work in SMART..I change Runescape to OpenGL and it gives me error saying runescape could not enter that display mode please check runescape website. I have tried reinstalling my graphic card, reinstaling java, changing settings to fixed mode in browser then tried setting to opengl in simba, I tried deleting all cache. I am trying to ask for help with this error but someone keeps deleting my post...What is going on?
WHY do all these scripts use smart? It isn't working for me so I am trying to use it in a browser but what part of the code other than the top section do I need to change to use browser instead of smart?
They all use SMART because SMART is the easiest way to run a script while being able to keep control of your mouse and keyboard, and also allows you to run multiple scripts at the same time.Quote:

Hey guys
Im trying to get the "iKaramjaFisher v1.0" script running, but everytime I start the script, then my screen in smart 8.3 just starts to flash.
If I try to use OpenGL it just does nothing. The strange thing is even if i switch to OpenGL it says Using plugins "d3d9.dll"
I just reinstalled simba and followed the install & setup thread step by step.
I also installed the Direct-X Plugin (https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107256) but it didnt help.
I think ive got the same error as tokoolman
I would be reeeeeaaallyy thankful for all help :)

Ive downloaded the DXI-0.4.zip and extracted it. Ive moved it after to C:\Simba\plugins\DXI-0.4
My graphics card is a ZOTAC AMP²! GeForce GTX 580 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 (815 MHz/4100 MHz)

Hey I downloaded all the files again, did a clean uninstall of all runescape files and set everything up again
But now I have a problem, freeing the Minimap Mask and SMART Debug Image.

RS won't let me switch to OpenGL, anyone know a fix?
Just says Runescape is unable to enter that display mode.
You need to make sure you players are setup correctly. Player names are case sensitive. It terminated because there was an error in your player setup.Quote:

you can try to switch trough save mode (holding the "S" key while RS is starting up) and switch there or deleting the whole jagex-cache.

Everytime I run iKaramja I get this "error" and the script stop I think with the update days ago did something or maybe need to reinstall simba?
