What Phone Would You Have Gotten?

Alright, well i had this really crappy phone for about 2 years, and my time was about to come up to renew it. But because i added insuranace to the phone they extended it another 2 years and i would have at to wait till 2011. So my mom got pissed and fighted with the company till they decided to say, "Ok, we will let you renew everyone's phones on your plan right now. And it has to be by today." Everyone on the plan included my mom, my dad, sister, and me. My mom has a blackberry curve 8330. My dad has the new blackberry connected with nextel the blackberry 8350i Smartphone, and my sis has the MOTORAZR™ VE20 by Motorola. I had this ANCIENT samsung phone that had only 6 menus, no web browsing, witch ment no internet and only texting untill, about 2 months ago when it would randomly lock up when i hit reply and phone would turn off.

SOOO. On topic i had to choose a phone at that point. So i quickly turned off my bot that was running for a wonderfully of 5 hours. (Pest Control :)) and i picked the Instinct S30. Now i know i heard, its exactly as the older extinct just that the web browsing IS faster and that it looks alot more slicker and rounder. So my point is, witch phone would you have chosen from sprint? Sprint is a very bad company and is one of the expensive company's out there. Please refer to sprint phones if you use them and you may refer to any other company that you like and would be nice to, put on how much you pay a month :) I may switch in 2 years :D

Hmm, they are not very familiar to me, but I think a blackberry would be fine :).

Both my parents got Pres. They take forever to turn on and a lot of them have cracks in them now (overall, not just my parents).

The HTC Pro looks nice, but I can't really say anything else about it :p

And I agree, Sprint sucks

I wanna try the pre so I said that.

If I wanted one I'd have to go steal it.

The palm pre looks hardcore sexy. I saw it in a store, and jizzed in my pants.

I really just wanna test the multiple, real-time applications at once and see how they work. :D It looks really nice, too.

=X Just read the post, and out of any phone available, I'd want the T-Mobile G1 with Google. But, in two years, there will be MUCH better phones, so have fun in two years! :)

I have a Sony Ericsson mp3 phone. It's pretty alright, but I wouldn't consider getting it again.

Did you know the the pre can cut cheese?

I have the fail Chocolate 2g.
When my parents' contract ran out. They went and got that, and I didn't even know :<

I really like the look of the htc though

i've got a vx8300, and LOVE it. So freakin strong and good. I accidentally ran it over with my car over a year ago, and I've had it for a little over 2 years now. its awesome, and I got 2 for $50 (after mail in rebate and 2 year agreement), my mom has the other one.

my brother got the new version, vx8350, and I hate it, they totally ruined it imo

Eww, my mum has that one, and the battery has failed like 3 times.
And my friend had it, and the samething happened.

well I guess I got the super awesome battery upgrade by accident, it'll still run more than a week on a charge (since I never call/get called cuzza imma loser like that)

wow i like all these reply guys lol. As it shows on the poll, there is some sprint haters floating around here :) lol i personally hate sprint and would love to switch to verizon,or t-mobile. But i guess if you live in South Texas, your going to need sprint since you live on a 5 acre ranch with no service around :P

Iphone option was out of the question in my case and i put up the phones, that i thought about getting. Iphone is junk imo. And personally i would have just gotten the G1 instead. Iphone is just to fancy for me and Apple products always failed for me.

Only thing great from apple is the MAC. Period.

Camera: G1 = 3MP vs iPhone = 2MP (mega pixels)

Keyboard: G1 = Virtual OR slideout qwerty keybord (use whatever when you want) vs iPhone = Virtual Keyboard.

Operating system: G1 = Android (Open Source) vs Mac Os X (proprietary)

Some more pros: Push gmail. Also has a compass mode that orients the screen as you move. Also has google street view + all google maps.


Some cons are that supposidly the battery life is lower then iPhone. (but different sources say otherwise)
